Women unrealistic view of their self worth and privileged ego took a hit in hard times.Speaking for myself, a lot of things I love that i would have to give up keep a women around I like better than her.

I think so, and their unwillingness to compromise on anything. The economy took a dip, you’d think women would realize that without as much money going around, life wouldn’t be the cake walk it was before. But no, their expectations stayed the same, and their demands did. YOU have to fulfill a long list of s~~~ before they will even consider you, and for what.

Hard economic times meant we had to pick and choose what we valued and how much we valued EVERYTHING. The sad thing of it is, women aren’t nearly as high on that list as they thought they were. In fact, most of them aren’t even on the list. MGTOW is the result of many things, not to mention the “economy crisis” that happens in divorce. And men have realized they won’t be able to afford and maintain a brand new car with this economic slump. They also realized they wouldn’t be able to afford some high maintenance diva who expects you to work extra hard so she can live a life of luxury. Then most guys realized they’d rather have the brand new car than a woman. Then they realized they’d rather have a pile of burning garbage instead of a woman.

Women have made it more clear than ever that they are a useless expense, and they’ve crossed over to being an asinine economic investment, and now even if the economy was soaring, nobody wants a woman.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

Where does the realization that a marriage is a bad economic decision come from? It would be difficult to talk a young man out of marriage, especially if he has met the, ahem, “right one”.

1. I believe that it is the realization at an early age that marriage is a raw deal. This can come from nowhere else but from direct observation and experience. See the numerous posts of young men that can dispassionately say that their mothers gave their fathers a raw deal.
2. The economy. If you don’t have any money, women don’t want to have anything to do with you. I think this comes first over a young man not being able to afford one.
3. The observation that young men’s options are limited. All they have to do is observe young women on the college campus. Young women today are repulsive. I just graduated at age 47 with my bachelor’s and find young women today to be distasteful.
4. Sexual outlets. Young men are satisfying their needs with something other than a woman. This is true if the young man is a virgin or not.

There are probably more factors, but in my humble opinion, these are probably in the top ten.

i think it has had some effect; women and manginas really do not adjust well to economic changes. They really can not downgrade.

When my parents were getting a divorce, the couple in-front of them… apparently got a divorce over $300… and then here my parents walk in with a multi-million dollar lawsuit… and the judge, without even looking at any thing, said, “i’ve got a headache right now, so i’m just going to give her all of your assets.”

I think it has been a factor for some, but I don’t know that a bad economy would turn many men MGTOW. By that I mean, I don’t think that a bad economy by itself would drive men away from women, only delay that pursuit of women till money was better. That said, it might of exposed the nature of women to many women, sure.

I honestly think that it has more to do with the modernization of today’s society then anything else.
– Women are not needed in the home to perform household tasks (cooking, laundry) due to improved technology and services. Even for childcare, a woman is much less of a need. Therefore a woman’s benefit has been reduced.
– Women have demanded more from men, due to feminism. Not only do they do less for a man, but they also expect more ‘work’ out of him.
– It is more risky to be involved with women. From the rise of divorce and it’s financial burdens, to the risk of false rape and domestic violence, It’s very risky.
– Women are less personably to be around. Men are no longer allowed to have their own personal space and activities, as the women want to participate in traditional male activities…making them less fun for men. They are also much less respectful and appreciative. They want to change who you are, even though who you are is what attracted them to you in the first place.
– What hasn’t been said much, but in today’s world, there are so many more options to spend your time and money on then there was before. With the internet, there has been a rise in the ‘long tail’ market. You can purchase rarer items with a lot greater ease. We now have 100s of tv channels rather then 4, plus streaming. Men can play video games and work on whatever hobby they want, which may not have been possible 25 years ago. The rise in social media has allowed men to spend time to socialize whenever about whatever with people they never would have known previously.

The way I see it, even if the quality of women had not decreased and associated risks increased, women would still be less desirable then in previous times because there are so many more options then there used to be.

It was a factor for me. I lost a high paying corporate job that I had for many years due to a merger at the worst possible time in the job market. This was the second time this has happened to me.

So I said f~~~ putting my fate in the hands of corporate sociopaths and went my own way.

During my transition, a series of female related events occurred that made me rethink women in general. I had finally gotten my fill of their bulls~~~.

I discovered MGTOW which made me realize I am not alone.

I think the bad economy does play a role in certain cases for a variety of reasons. It’s definitely not a negative factor in MGTOW growth. My version of MGHOW concerns both women and working.

I also agree with SoldierMedic’s observation about young women being distasteful. The ones I’ve met are hedonistic c~~~ carouseling freaks of nature for the most part. I think half of them are bisexual. That’s OK for strippers and prostitutes but not for having a relationship. I feel badly for younger men.

Women are severely degraded and MGTOWs are the only ones calling them out on it. That’s why we’re so loved.

I’m not sure if the bad economy boosts MGTOW directly, but I think it does indirectly. As others have posted, when the economy is tough you have to watch your money. If a woman is in a tough economy, she will just look for her provider to spend more so she doesn’t have to feel any pain. When a guy sees that she doesn’t give a s~~~ about him and his financial circumstances, it’s more likely he dumps her. But she doesn’t care because she has the golden vagina and plenty of orbiters so she moves on. It doesn’t change her behavior, but it changes HIS. One fewer orbiter but life is the same (for her).

I also think that the longer feminism goes on, the more sons will be born and watch their dad getting f~~~ed over by mom and the legal system. It probably doesn’t even make sense to them at the time, but it will as they get older. And when they finally figure out that mom is just as big of a bitch as the rest of them, that’s got to be a red pill moment for a ton of young men. Being told that dad abandoned them for all of those years only to later find out that mom kicked him out, falsely accused him and left him facing jail time if he tried to contact his son, and then called that “abandoning” the family.

The bad economy makes the leech more desperate to extract blood from the host, and it makes it more noticeable to those watching. So yeah, I do think the bad economy indirectly benefits MGTOW.
