As if we needed another reason to avoid marriage.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11043785/Bullying-husbands-face-jail-under-new-proposals-by-Theresa-May.html

A few quotes.

“Home Secretary unveils plan to criminalize “domestic abuse” which involves no violence”

“criminalize men or women who bully, cause psychological harm or deny money to their partners.”

Exact terms of the offense are yet to be defined, but it could involve humiliating, frightening or intimidating a partner, keeping them away from friends or family or restricting their access to money.”

Now a woman does not have to wait till the 10 year mark to divorce you and get a permanent income for the rest of her life. All she has to do is clam to be denied shoe money and off you go to the big house while she moves in her new boy toy to your home.

From the article this- Both proposed offences mark a significant incursion by the State into what have previously been regarded as private affairs.

In fairness the rebuke here- Peter Lodder QC, a criminal barrister, added: “The law can be a blunt instrument and if you are talking about how people conduct their private lives the criminal law is not always the best way to control that.

Big Brother is here Boys, and He wants to run your marriage and your affairs, be extra nice to your women out there.

My ex accused me of financial abuse after she paid the bills, then forgot, then paid them again, bouncing 4000.00 in checks. I told her she could not be in control of the finances until her post partum depression clear up and that was that.

The next day she was out the door without notice and she took our child.

And I was accused of abuse. She tried to use this “abuse” in custody court against me (and lost).

#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.

Lovely terms of a marriage contract : DON’T do something and you go to prison.
This bulls~~~ turns a marriage into prison anyway. He’s already there! So what’s the difference?

Give her $ 12 and tell her to WALK down to the Goodwill and buy herself a pair. The extra is so she can take the bus. That’s being generous.

There’s your “shoe money”, bitch.

Now , SHOO!

I would feel sorry for these women if they didn’t CHOOSE and PREFER abusive assholes.
She can LEAVE. /audio/domestic-violence/

All these laws are like thousands of fish hooks hanging from the ceiling in the halls of justice! I equate marriage to willingly sticking your head in a bear trap!
Signing over your life to be ruled in the magisterial hall of fish hooks is nuttier than the nuttiest NUTS! No sane man would ever sign such a monstrous thing!
Using the pen, I’d stab myself in the eye before I’d sign!
And a man is supposed to purpose for such a thing? That’s beyond f~~~ing NUTS!

This is a positive thing. It will make it easier for men in abusive relationships, since these are usually about emotional abuse – constant putdowns, shaming, belittling, nagging etc. Set up the camera and mic, let it run, spend some time making a ‘best of’ video, then call the lawyer.

This is actually fair and it makes a lot of sense. When you get married, it’s a contract, whereupon you agree to love, provide, and care for your spouse, since her life now depends on yours. And in exchange, you get sex and get to pass on your genes.

That is, it would be fair, provided that it would also be illegal to withhold sex from your partner. But, no, apparently “marital rape” is a thing.

Come to think of it, what exactly does a man get from a marriage (and, by a marriage, I mean an idealistic, traditional, proper one that would, hypothetically, be upheld justly in the courts of law; obviously, the current state of marriage is a scam) that a woman doesn’t get? The benefit a man got was sex and the opportunity to pass on his genes—but doesn’t the woman get the exact same thing, and more?

Was the traditional definition and purpose of marriage per se even fair to begin with? Methinks it not.

". . . elle, suivant l’usage des femmes et des chats qui ne viennent pas quand on les appelle et qui viennent quand on ne les appelle pas, s’arrêta devant moi et m’adressa la parole"—Prosper Mérimée
