With the election of President Donald J. Trump it seems like the world has stepped back from the rink of disaster and has started to stop the liberal madness that has been going on as of late. Democrats still do not realize how screwed they are, they don’t understand why they lost and it’s really funny to watch this stuff. Even the former President said that they had the right message, they just didn’t say it loud enough. So that right there tells you the extent of how their mindset is.

Democrats under the leadership of Obama, Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Shumer lost over 1000 legislative seats in eight years. The GOP now owns the House, Senate, White House, The Supreme Court, 33 Governors, 30 states with all Republican Congress, and 105 judges on the 9th Circuit Court which is notoriously liberal. But that’s not even the extent of it.

There are 10 Senators in Congress whose seats are up for re-election in two years (2018). All ten of them are from states that Trump won. Trump is going to need to work across the aisle on certain issues. If those ten people don’t play ball, they’ll get voted out in the primaries in two years. So if they don’t want to lose their seats, they HAVE to play ball. Democrats do not turn out in high numbers in mid-term elections, Republicans do. So it would benefit those Dem Senators greatly to do what is right. If they don’t then, the GOP, instead of having a 52 seat majority, they could easily have a 58 or 60 seat majority. You need 60 votes to pass a constitutional amendment, this means the GOP would be able to pass an amendment to the Constitution and the Dems would be powerless to stop them.

Democrats are screwed big time. They want to fight everything and anything that Trump does, which is noble but will fail in the long run. The media is screwed because the Press Secretary is a pitbull that will call them out on anything and perhaps will skip over them in favor of questions from fairer news organizations.

One last thing, because Obama decided to not work with Congress, the majority of his legacy, i’d say atleast 80% or more is by executive orders. Trump is right now in the process of repealing everything Obama did. There won’t be anything left of it by Easter. Now i know what you’re thinking, Trump is using executive orders now as well, so what is the difference?? The difference is, Obama used executive orders to STOP businesses from doing things in the name of environment and liberal causes. He halted businesses and stopped progress like the Keystone pipeline for example. He didn’t want that pipeline to be built because he said it was bad for the environment. Trump is using executive orders to stop delays and push forward with jobs being added. He’s signed an order for the pipeline to push forward and it will be upwards of 28,000 jobs from the Dakotas down through Texas.

Anyway, this will be a fun 4-8 years and i for one, will enjoy it all. Fellas this is the era of man, and common sense. Take it in man

I agree with all but one thing on this post. Obama did not stop the pipeline because he cared so much about the “Environment”.

No Warren Buffet is primary owner of Union Pacific railroad. Largest transporter of fossil fuels in the country.

Warren Buffet donated I believe over 50 million to both of Obamas campaigns.

You think that might have protected some interests?

Democrats, in their hubris, fail to realize just what a literal genius Donald Trump really is. He plays it off to keep this fact hidden and to keep his opponents off balance so they won’t take him seriously. I suspect he’s either an ENTJ or an INTJ personality type, and both types excel at creating long terms plans within plans before their opponents even figured out step one.

I’m more worried that the oligarchs who see their power slipping away will try to have him assassinated. I suspect Trump suspects the same thing too which is why he has hired his own security in addition to Secret Service.

I will be little off topic.

I hope, environment friendly technology gets more competitive over time.Yes it will need decades and lots of money, what-probably-fossil fuel companies have. Also I have hope in 4th generation of nuclear reactors (in some designs, the nuclear garbage is less radioactive than typical everyday materials around us), and fusion reactors. Also, with overhead wires over motorways, electric cars won’t have any more range limit. And the whole thing won’t be bad for fossil fuel companies, mineral oil and gas is a good base material for organic chemistry, for example for manufacturing plastic and rubber etc. Do not waste it for burning. Produce Ethanol or Methanol or similar stuff for car fuel, it burns cleaner. Also re-use of materials should be good business.

But, the worst thing about fossil fuels is not carbon dioxide and global warming, but the high amount of sub 10 micrometer particles in the smoke, very unhealthy and carcinogenic, because they get down deep into the lungs, and air of cities full of it.

For example: Diesel cars, especially coal rollers (Try that in Hungary or anywhere in Europe, cops will send your car for an immediate technical examination to the strictest workshop, and you face a s~~~load of fine and even more paperwork.)

(And, for this week, public transport (that uses electricity and buses running on compressed natural gas) was made free to reduce smoke in the city, and in the capital they banned certain category of cars out of the city. )

Or burning wood for heating (and losers of society burning plastic and garbage because they do not have any money but do not want to freeze, too bad it’s impossible to detect and punish somehow)

And coal power plants with not good smoke filter.

Disclaimer: I do not defend any politician and I’m not in US and don’t know the exact situation there, but at least, Trump seems to be very honest, to the level of political incorrectness if necessary, and I like that.

Trumps executive orders unblock Obamas. Followed by congressional bills. When President Trump signs bill wallah.

What Trump’s executive orders do is they throw the issue into Congress. It forces them to engage and do something.

Trump is an agent of change.

I for one am skeptical of President Trump. He may seem like an outsider, but there are many signs point to him being of the same swamp that he promised to drain.

Withdrawing from the TPP was a good move, as was reinstituting the Mexico City abortion policy, but removing the block from the pipelines is arguably a bit shady, especially since we don’t know what effects it will have on the environment or on the health of those who live relatively close to it. This would most certainly affect our dependence on foreign oil and put a stop to the oil and gold wars, but at the expense of our environment. The same issues could be said of Trump’s pledges to bring back manufacturing and production. His cabinet is also eerily similar to that of the establishment, with people like Mnuchin (ex-Goldman Sachs banker who was named the ‘King of Forclosure’ for his policies during the 2007-2008 housing crisis) and Sessions (who is in favor of continuing the War on Drugs and pro-civil asset forfeiture amongst other things) being shady picks, especially since I feel that Gowdy or Chaffetz for AG would be a much more reliable pick. There are also the real problems that need to be dealt with: auditing the Federal Reserve, returning to the Gold standard (reinstating Executive Order 11110) banning GMOs and pesticides from our food supply, abolishing the IRS and other corrupt agencies that do nothing for our country, reforming our education system, protecting the civil liberties of the citizenry, conducting an investigation into how Fukushima radiation is affecting the West Coast, looking into Soros and how he and his funded organization are ruining the country… etc.

That being said, Trump et al. have 96 days to prove that he really is an outsider and for the American people, as well as the Constitution.

I understand the concern about him. But he is better than the alternative. The fact that he is making liberals mad is probably a good sign that we’re going in the right direction. That being said, it’s only been two days. And he’s showed great promise already. Hell he showed promise the week after he was elected when all the world leaders wanted to talk to him instead of Obama.

Give him time. He’s starting off on the right foot. Let him surprise you

All that protesting and rioting didn’t help the Democrats either. In fact, it’s all part of why Trump and the Republicans won big since the Obama error.

Passing the law in the Senate is just the first step; it still must be passed by I believe 3/4 of the states.

i have no party affiliation but would identify as a moderate or centrist that’s maybe a touch to the right of middle. i think the two party system is a total illusion and is a tool to manipulate the people by divide and conquer tactics. for everyone that is pleased that the dems are out of control, just wait another 8 years. i predict Trump will get a 2nd term. but the left will have enough momentum that Obama’s agenda and time in office will look tame. wait 8 years and see all the freaks come out of the woodwork. the republicans and conservatives and just cucks to the liberal agenda that make it seem like they represent their conservative constituents but in reality left and right are both on the same team. The Trump era will only serve as a catalyst to push the country ever farther to the left once he leaves office.

This body holding me is a reminder of my own mortality. Embrace this moment. Remember, we are eternal and all this pain is an illusion.

Interesting ain’t it – how only the electoral college allows pretty much the entire US to have any say over what goes on? A few tiny patches of blue make all the decisions and the rest of us are left to shift in the wind – if the electoral college goes away, all those red counties are hosed.

Geographically, Democrats screwed themselves by clustering into the largest, most populous cities. While they are great in numbers, they are not spread evenly, as the map indicates. You can’t win with everyone packed into California, Seattle, Denver, Austin, Chicago, D.C., New York and Boston.

So far Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do. I don’t like it myself. But there’s no bait-and-switch in progress. People will see exactly whether his ideas work. If people like it, he’ll hold serve in landslide fashion. If they don’t, he still maintains a significant advantage due to Democratic clustering and laziness.

And those protests we’ve covered in the media? They won’t last. We have 21 months before the midterm election. Don’t expect an overweight woman in a pink hat to keep up that kind of energy and focus for more than a few days, a few weeks at most.

Don’t expect anyone in Congress to stand up to the President beyond a few token tweets. They’re spineless, both sides, interested in self-preservation above all.

Democrats biggest pitfall was the fact that they believed their own lies. They had the poll numbers looking in their favor, not realizing that over-sampling was just making it look like they were winning. In reality, Trump had a lead with independents since he won the nomination.

Trump had a lead with independents since he won the nomination.

And there-in lies the rub. Trumps best friend (along with WikiLeaks) was Sanders kids and still is, even more than the Hillary crowd. The violent protests at Trump rallies only forced people who were not voting for Trump to defend him and I should know. They said: “If these maniacs hate him so much, he MUST be right!” Meanwhile, Hillary was being forced further left trying to devour Sanders kids, leaving Trump to secure where he already had an advantage: The independent and moderate voters. They are always the ones that make or break a candidate in any Presidential Election. Just think back to the 2000 election and how much the Democrats hated Nader’s Raiders or the 1992 Election and the GOP’s hatred for Ross Perot. The middle of the pendulum swings both ways.

The polls exposed the mainstream media even more than it exposed the Democrats. Rachel Man-cow told everyone how Trump was wasting his time even running and she was by no means alone. They were trying to put the elephant on a string. I have been getting drunk on Progressive/Socialist tears ever since, my favorite beverage.
