Yes…because liberals put hate before logic, and to know and understand that simply means to look at history. Slavery, the KKK, filibustering the Civil Rights Act of 1964, all the way up to the outsourcing of American industry overseas and creating the ghettos of Detroit, Compton, Chicago, Atlantic City…the list goes on. Nearly everything that is wrong with this country is traceable right back to them. They do (on the whole) support marijuana legalization, but this is a bipartisan issue supported on both sides because it is no longer stringently social. They did, however, originally oppose this because they opined that it made black men want to rape white women, lol! This was obviously untrue, and they only did it to protect their interest in the limber industry when it was being threatened by hemp possible becoming a cheap replacement for lumber in the production of paper. Are there good liberals? Sure! There are some liberals out there who are actually conservatives and don’t even know it yet. But the ones who know what they are doing are truly troubled and weak individuals who seek nothing more than the destruction of our country and way of life.

Why are corporations going to raise wages, just because they had their taxes cut? They could do things like buy back their own stock, invest overseas, and a bunch of other things. What drives wages up is supply and demand. And, so long as supply is sufficient, companies don’t pay more for the sake of paying more.

Is the whole Trumpian politics that you place America first, and the government puts restrictions on immigration so that companies have to hire more Americans, and thus raise wages? If simply cutting taxes was sufficient to raise wages, then why worry about the borders? Oh, there is cut down the criminal element, but the argument is deeper than that.

Companies had done a bit of PR in regards to announcing some wages going up, as if the tax cuts had to do with it. The tax cuts hadn’t gone in effect yet, so it is just PR move. Some companies who raised wages, also ended up cutting headcount.
