I love that car. The design is still a head turner. And with the Stage II engine and all the old flaws stripped out, it’s the car it always should have been.

This is not actually a “new” DeLorean. A few years ago they were building “rebuilds” out of all the stock they had enough to build hundreds of cars using old VIN numbers. That rebuild program was set back about 4 years ago and they paused it, but they used to take orders online and the price at the time was about $65K with all the options, including a rear-view camera.

It’s the same car, it’s just built “new”. The news story reads better if they call them “new” instead of “new re-builds” which is what they were calling it.
