First off this article comes off as fake (though I could be wrong), and leftists pushing a transgender agenda. But regardless, the article is beyond ridiculous.

A most likely single mother’s (no mention of a father in the article) 17 year old son commits suicide due to issues from transitioning from a boy to girl. From the suicide note “I would like to be remembered as a transgender pansexual teenage girl named Hope” Sounds like something a single mother raises these days.

That is one small demographic you are quoting(I assume American colleges only?) Here in the UK, the ONS stats of 2009 state(no longer perform stats)from 1,300-2,000(male-female), whilst between 250-400(female-male).
