As an American i am filled with shame for what other Americans did when you were to speak at Berkeley.
We are experiencing an unprecedented rise in crybabies who would rather riot,
than to let any voice speak who is not goose-stepping to their fascist ideolgy.
The Democratic party seems to be anything but “democratic”
and so, in a sad twist of fate they now are the violent oppressors of free speech.
Please accept my sympathy ,
because to say nothing would be tantamount to agreement with them and their terrorist like tactics.
You are greatly admired by most of the men here.
Men who for various reasons,
have chosen to go their own way.
As one of them,
i cannot speak for all,
but as for myself i will say again that my sense of embarrassment comes from seeing a visitor from the U.K. be welcomed at a college with complete and utter ridiculousness.
You deserved a welcome mat and you received a riot.
I cannot offer you an apology as i support what you say and had nothing to do, nor ever will with the crowd of morons you encountered.
Please don’t make me famous,
