Read Mickey’s recent thread – we were on the phone for an hour and he assisted with kicking the login problem in the ass. I manually changed his password for him while he was on the phone …. he had zero issue too and got in no problem. And he also offered to fill others in on my behalf.

Since everyone knows me, let me be clear. MGTOW.COM is NOT GOING ANYWHERE!
And as of now, I only see 6 members (publicly) logged in.

I have a good idea what happened with the login info, and that has to be the way WordPress deals with login data and the amount it can deal with. We may be hitting the 16 Bit or 8 bit barrier that when we went past so many users, the login portion of the Code for this website backend can not handle all the members. REmember, this site was never meant to handle THIS MUCH TRAFFIC or USERS!

Rest assured, MGTOW.com is going to have some SERIOUS upgrades. If you think it looks good now, just wait till we get the greased lighting going.

Keymaster is not some amuture. You won’t believe the stuff he actually does and runs in the real world. But as always, you have to deal with dependencies. Just like Apache web hosting software, even though its code is solid, not make people make their website from ground up. Building these tools takes time. So your kind of in a catch 22 when you are ready to run a big site like this.

Be patient men. It will all come back better and stronger then ever.

Some have had questions about Keymasters motives about the site. And why it does not have dedicated admins. There is a reason for this. MGTOW was NEVER about taking your money, or making money. Many members wonder about why we have no ads, or any thing like that.

Well, FREEDOM comes at a stiff penalty. Even using Google’s Adsense (Nonsense 🙂 can really be a problem since we are not a gynocentric website. Just saying C.U.N.T.Y can jeopardize the whole revenue part of Adsense.

Let alone all the stuff we post. GAB.ai is taking donations for a reason folks. Keymaster does not want your donations. He’s just too proud to take charity. Its one of the reasons why Feminists ask for money. MEN don’t BEG. If you want to support the site, buy a screensaver. Also, there will be some products that Keymaster is going to offer men, and some other things that are going to come down the pipeline to help fund things like admins etc.

Keymaster believes that if you put in work, you should get paid for it. But here we have a man that Paid for this site for many months out of his own pocket and put in his time and gave us MGTOW.com. He gave men all over the world a VOICE.

The second coming of this site is going to have all these things implemented in a way that only a MAN get get done!

There are good things coming. And yea, Keymaster is under a TON of pressure. But men, PLEASE understand. Keymaster is just like any one of us. He has a life too folks. And things go wrong in life.

Till then, I urge you men to start also having back up places to meet.

Reddit has /r MGTOW. As well as Gab.ai and twitter.

As always in the I.T. world, we need to have backups for men to converse with each other.
Bitshute should also be a thing soon. These tools and website are going to be the new way going forward, and MGTOW.com is going to be the HUB of the Manosphere.

Thanks for the update…Many members despaired that their line of communication and source of refuge got whacked…I too felt anxious and uneasy at what happened but was glad that I didnt have a problem logging in so I was able to spend my time browsing old posts…

One thing I feared from the events was that KM might have died or something given that he was in the hospital a few moons ago…Still, seeking strength and/or validation from within oneself has been one of the tenets of MGTOW…

Tonight wee will post a “warning” message to everyone that we are about to perform the step of sweeping through every member and upgrading all the member pages and member roles ( guest, ghost, galt / subscriber / Participant etc)

Member roles are the hardest part. Everything integrates with them.
“Permissions” will need to be set for all levels.

Things like Private Messaging may go on and off a few times… but I expect every member will be able to log in by morning. That’s priority one.

This will probably take place in the next 2 hours.

• Profile page will be reduced to your profile stuff only (no extras)
• Private messaging, notifications and live notifications will go off.
• The upgrade page will be deactivated (and remain so for probably 1-2 weeks).

Before the update, we will deactivate the login page so nobody can log again in until we think it’s ready. This is why we’re doing it late at night. We will post a note (on the login page ) of what we are doing and the message will change when we think you can start logging in again.
