Just needed to rant this morning. I’m an insurance agent and I deal with banks and mortgage companies on a daily basis. We moved a client’s policies to a new carrier, so the bank is to pay for the homeowner’s insurance premium through the customer’s escrow account. An invoice is sent to the bank or mortgage company, and they send in the check to the insurance company. Simple enough.

Well, this mortgage company, I will not specify who, has owed a payment to an insurance carrier since 7/20/2016. I have sent the information to the mortgage company four times now, and have spoken/emailed five different women. I have not conversed with a man at this company. Anyway the grace period for the late payment was due three days ago, and these dumb broads at the mortgage company still can’t figure out what is going on. I got another call this morning stating that they received a cancellation notice for the client, and asked if the payment was made. I said, “You tell me, I’ve sent the info to your company four times, spoken with now five different people, was told that the payment was over-nighted on 9/1/16, the payment is three days overdue and now you’re calling me?” Her reply: “Ok thank you sir.”

Here is one part of the email correspondence with this dunce. The first email is at the bottom of the page. Read from the bottom to the top:

    Steve,

Can you send me proof of insurance with Allied?

    -Lakeesha

Is Carrington mortgage going to pay the premium to Allied?

    -Steve

    Lakeesha,

Yes when we spoke the other day, I explained that the client is changing their carrier and the new premium needs to be paid.

    Steve,

You may want to check with the policy holder to be sure your policy is still in effect. We have recently paid a premium for them with a different provider.

    -Lakeesha

    Hi again Lakeesha,

I just want to confirm that you have received the email with the O’Rourke’s new declarations page and invoice. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

    Hi Lakeesha,

I have attached the new homeowner’s declarations page and invoice for the O’Rourkes. The Allied homeowner’s policy will take effect 7/20/2016 and the premium of $918.40 needs to be paid in full.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks!

The lack of common sense and the lack of willingness to help out anyone with anything outside of their job description is astounding. These five women in this mortgage company are actually getting paid to do a job. If our agency was run like some of these banks, we would have been out of business a long time ago.

I’m so glad that no women work in our agency. If we can help it, we will never hire a woman for any reason either.

There are no women in this guy’s workplace. Of course, his HR Dept will be all women, but he doesn’t have to deal with them every day.

I’m thinking this guy does not have an HR Dept to hassle him!

Dealing with Women in the Workplace

“I don’t speak to women at work about anything other than work“.

    It’s really that simple.

“So what did you do this weekend?”.

“I don’t speak to women at work about anything other than work”.

    “Do you have a girlfriend?”.

“I don’t speak to women at work about anything other than work”.

“Hey do you want to have lunch?”.

“I don’t speak to women at work about anything other than work”.

And they can’t nail you on it. If anyone gives you grief about that, you remind them that it’s a PLACE OF BUSINESS — not a place to chat. You can even say that to an HR c~~~face. It’s UNPROFESSIONAL to speak to anyone at work about anything other than work.

Women love to socialize at work and frankly I am f~~~ing sick of seeing it. So I made myself a professional policy:

“I do not speak to women at work about anything other than work”.

It has served me very well.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

It sucks working with women period. I just talk to them enough to what is needed to get the task done. It’s the hot ones that are tough to ignore. There is a girl here about 24 with the best bubble booty and cans that give me an instant quarter chub every time I walk by. I could easily nail her (she’s a def buttaface) but the ramifications at work could easily destroy my career a drop of a friggin’ hat. I just have to admire from afar and THAT’s IT! If you let your dick do the thinkin’ at work you’ll be in for a great surprise trust me! IT’s NOT WORTH IT.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me

I work for and with them. Like Keymaster advises – keep it strictly business. What really gets me is the Millenial c~~~s who think they know it all. Nothing more demeaning than as a man in his late 50s who’s worked for nearly 40 years and put himself through school – including 10 years doing heavy manual labor – getting lectured by some liberal arts college grad t~~~ who never did a physical days work in her life. I stare blankly at them and go on my way doing my job.

^^^^ Thats an obvious red flag and maybe you should have asked for another rep. When I have to call a customer service dept and hear this “thank you for calling _____ lakeesha speaking can I help you” I hang up!

Never lose sight of what brought you here.

There were four other reps who were in on this, each one more useless than the last. I know what you’re saying though haha, and I rolled my eyes when she said her name.
