Without any spoilers I pose this question because I do not trust Hollywood,
the powers that be and
have seen agendas shoved down audiences throats.
That being the case, am I the only one who suspects that the release of Deadpool on Valentine’s day [to the masses] is more than a coincidence and more than just profit motivated?
The anti-hero guy’s guy which probably appeals to most of us, shoved in our faces on VD day, his basic nature, the breaking of the so called 4th wall etc.
It just seems like now, you can see/smell this “setup” coming.
That after it has passed and the pieces are put together, my money is on the, “oh well, they’ve done it again” with regard to social programming thereby."It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."
I think it’s just an attempt to be ironic.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave. That after it has passed and the pieces are put together, my money is on the, “oh well, they’ve done it again” with regard to social programming thereby.
Yep, that would be my call too. Haven’t seen it. If I ever do, it will be when the DVD can be rented.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
They wouldn’t do it on VD unless they thought it would make more money than doing on the 15th.

It’s not released on V day, this Sunday. It’s released on Friday like virtually all movies do. The release date isn’t set for social programming reasons, it’s set to maximize profits. People tend to want to see movies over holidays and long weekends, which is exactly what we have coming up. The also consider what other movies are coming out at the same time, as they want to avoid competition for your dollar.
Lastly, what is the primary target audience for the movie? Although I’m sure they hope to appeal to the masses, I would think single men would be the target. And what are single men doing over the V-day weekend? Nothing. Perfect time to see a movie.
That said, I believe there is a ‘romantic’ aspect to the movie. That’s to pull in the women. Men are trained to overlook that crap because they seen it so many times.
Ok. Then do it.

I wish they wouldn’t do that. So many movies tarted up and ruined that way.
Who knows? Maybe people will give more of a s~~~ about the movie than Valentine’s Day. I’m probably going to watch it when I get the chance. One of my reserved, female “friends” would expect me to take her out and pay for the entire experience. None of that is happening.
I’m done with hollywood, no more chances.
