day one, in lockdown

ok, …. this morning the Wisconsin social distancing “lockdown” began .. eight minutes ago at 8:00AM CST .. what’s called “Safer at Home” to remain at home if at all possible .. except for necessary trips and the usual list of allowable work, jobs that must go on .. and when we are out and about .. then try and stay six feet from other people. This continues until 8:00AM Friday April 25th. My dentist office called this morning and cancelled my appointment until late next month. He is also closed until mid April.

… as a someone who does not seek out large groups or masses of people .. I find the entire concept refreshing. When I do get out, .. oh, yes .. I’ll be out doing my “necessary errands” .. the roads will be a little emptier.

*Day one, … let’s call last evening day one .. last evening I sat in the dark and enjoyed listening to a sci-fi movie .. didn’t watch, just listened .. it was glorious .. I don’t mind this social isolation at all.
I can cook a decent meal .. I don’t need society for that.

…yes, I’ve been practicing social distancing all my life, nothing new
