David’s Chapter 11: America’s Largest Bridal Chain Files For Bankruptcy
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
For all the lies by the progressive feminist SJW fools, eventually the cracks in the veneer of their falsehoods start to show.
No man wants to get married to a greedy, oversexed, self-entitled c~~~ whom can use the state to make her ex-husband her slave for life, with no recourse for the man.
Even the betabuxs are only pumping and dumping. While the chads are not calling back. And the MGTOW are walking away.
Oh No the Largest Bridal Chain going belly up, What will be NEXT ??? How about the Jewelry stores ??? LOL LOL LOL

Those places, what a racket. They sell you stuff they largely will not take back or if they do, at a small fraction of what was forked over. they know it isn’t worth jack.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.
How about the Jewelry stores ??? LOL LOL LOL
That might happen. The jewelry chain stores are already advertising for WOMEN to buy the rings and propose to the MEN.
That likely means those stores are REALLY hard up for money.
The Whole Wedding “Industry” got MY CASH ONCE, but I’m Once and DONE.

How can this be? Surely women are marrying other women and even themselves. That should be enough to keep the industry afloat.
More proof that if a man’s money, utility and work isn’t involved, it all goes to s~~~.Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.
My ex-wife bought a “pre-owned / vintage” dress for much less than what some people spend (“only” around $530 in current dollars) — but still, that’s expensive enough for something that a person will wear once. For $530, I could buy a serviceable spare beater car… a beginner-level musical instrument and some lessons… 5 months’ worth of groceries… hundreds of used books… or all the materials I’d need to overhaul my chicken coop… in other words, things that will provide utility or ongoing enjoyment.
things that will provide utility or ongoing enjoyment.
The dress, the marriage and the wife will never provide that.
If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.
F~~~ that shiettttt
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

Mine spent that on her dress and my daughters dress and two bridesmaid dresses. Total was like 600 and convinced me at the time she was doing me a favor saving me huge sums… all for something worn once.
I was all for it, even as blue pill as I was, as I was paying for the whole $15k shin dig. Not including the ring.
$15k for one day. Only to be lied to, cheated on, and financially raped. At least mine was short term, and she died before divorce raping me.
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
The company will remain in operation during the restructuring which will cut outstanding debt by more than $400 million out of its overall debt load of $760 million, according to Bloomberg.
Based on Conshohcken, Pennsylvania and owned by private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice since 2012, David’s has been working with Evercore investment bank and legal counsel Debovoise & Plimpton LLP. Oaktree, which holds the lion’s share of the company’s $491 million unsecured and term notes, is working with financial adviser Moelis & Co. on the deal, and is represented by law firm Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.
The company suffered from issues during a 2016 website redesign that dropped the search rankings of some products – while competition with Amazon and other online retailers has also added to the company’s woes – resulting in a 30% drop in earnings since 2012.
David’s – which introduced new CEO Scott Key earlier this year, has struggled for a long time with declining sales and a troubled balance sheet. Analysts see a specialty retailer beset by problems in its sector, capital structure and of the company’s own making. Increasing competition and “casualization” are challenging the wedding sector, according to Moody’s.
Don’t worry boys, it’s not that there are fewer men getting married. It’s Amazon’s fault, it’s the website’s fault, there’s more competition, and wedding are getting more casual. Really! It’s not that men are coming to their senses!!
Seriously though, f~~~ those private equity assholes. They come in, buy the company, leverage the s~~~ out of it and pull their money back out, and then it either sinks or swims. And they don’t care because they are living on borrowed money. They’ve already pulled their original investment back out. It’s free money to them.
Order the good wine

It is hard to compete with government funded companies.
5 months’ worth of groceries…
for $530 ?!
dang man, you know how to shop.
I spend $150+ a month on groceries easy, just for me. I do not like eating cheap food. I spend a lot on water too. I buy fancy mineral water and flavored sparkling water because I do not drink.
I also spend a lot on Coffee. the kPods for Kurig. I buy the Strbucks brand because it just tastes better. I HATE cheap coffee like Maxwell and Community coffee lol. I actually dont like Starbucks much either but its the best they offer at a grocery store. Foldgers is tolerable, I guess….lol
ok, so let’s look at the logistics here:
first: Millenials are getting married at a much later age in life than prior generations. aka fewer sales.
second: The rise of the LGBT movement does not embrace “traditional” marriage, so no expensive wedding ceremonies but more reserved gatherings.third: Those middle aged are not marrying but co-habitating more frequently now than in years past.
All of that means less sales hence less income for David’s and less profit.
ADD to that a few private investment banks, and a private equity firm running the company and you can plainly see by the numbers that there’s no chance for David’s without major change.
Looks like a LOT OF RED INK for the private investment Banks !
Marry again, Hell NO ! ( Even JESUS was hung on a cross just once)
This is why…you can either love them or understand them…you can’t do both!
They are NOT worth marrying! The company suffered from issues during a 2016 website redesign that dropped the search rankings of some products
Oh – now I understand. That explains everything. Everything.
Otherwise everything would be ducky.
They all marry the state instead.
It’s a sign that marriage is heading down and the MGTOW movement is working. If anyone is to blame, it’s the women, because if they weren’t such bitches to live with, maybe more men wouldn’t mind marrying.

That really doesn’t matter; she could be your CUPCAKE right to the end…… THEN she pushes the “Big D” button.
It can be pre-planned. I’ll tell ya when it will likely happen:When you lose your job
When you get a life-changing illness
When the kid(s) reach adolescence
When the kid(s) go on to college
When she finds CHAD
When she lets “the HIVE” influence her decisions
Just before you retire (if you ever make it that far!)and that is assuming your social relationship with your cupcake is fine.

at AA meeting yesterday
60 year old woman uber excited about her wedding next week. Gets cheers and applause from the women in the room.
the delusion of marriage: women’s infatuation with it: men’s blindness to it…. seems to be indestructible when you see it in your own life however here at MGTOW, we know, its on the way out…..
