David Weber is one of my favorite Science Fiction writers. I have enjoyed every one of his books.

In the past, I would read my hard cover editions of the entire Honor Harrington series as a reward for completing a big project.

My students were encouraged to use this series as a fun example of how to build a career in the course of one’s life. Each book stressed the importance of martial arts training balanced with job/ life skills, education/ training, community, and good friends. They are fine ideals for any man.

My recent red pills have been making it difficult to read about “Honor Harrington” and her damned cats. It was OK when I believed in Unicorns and NAWALT, now I find it offensive.

Sadly, David Weber seems to be channeling the narrative of the Gynocracy.

Yes, this is not a fun post.

Perhaps this should be posted into Blue Pill Hell?

    Any suggestions?

Maybe I should take my Hard cover editions of the “Honor Herrington” series and dump them into the “Litter Box.”

I was the same with romantic movies after realizing the real dynamics at play. I could see every NAWALT trick,.
They always end at the “happily ever after” fairy tale bit, never showing the result of the brief period of intense excitement and passion.
I ranged from disgust to anger. I couldn’t stomach more than a few minutes of movies I’d always enjoyed watching.

It all changes within a few months. Romantic movies become comedies rich with MGTOW material.
All romantic movies show how men have to belittle themselves to women ( and end up with a wife) They’re like mini-documentaries.

Don’t throw them away. One day you’ll be able to laugh at the funny bits again, and the bits that weren’t meant to be funny,

Yea, I’m also a David Weber fan. Back when he wrote Mutineers Moon then the Dahak series. Honor Harrington was still a good read but if you look at it from a certain perspective the Honor character is not really written from a “female” perspective. He can’t write huge passages of confusing feelings or self inflicted depression. He can’t write like a woman.

I’ve always thought “Honor Harrington” was a based off the “Hornblower”-books in a scifi setting. There are moments where I find parts the author is serious and I find it hilarious, unintentionally…..

I greatly enjoyed the first few books of the Honor Harrington series. They had lots of action and interesting characters. They became ponderous tomes about committee meetings, and that took the fun out of the series for me.

Is nothing sacred in Science Fiction?

The most talented authors of Sci-Fi literature are men.

Is it unreasonable to expect some loyalty from men as regards to men’s interests and Truth?

Even Robert Heinlein’s manly book “Starship Troopers” is tainted with a Unicorn love interest, Carmen.

    Treachery is afoot!

And the White Night Hall of Fame has a picture of David Weber right next to Michael Moore.

My Red Pills have been making it impossible for me to read about the Super Vagina “Honor Herrington” and her damned cats.

The Gynocracy is based up on lies, dress up, and make believe which men have encouraged for too long:

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
