I am not sure how dating fits in with being MGTOW.

MGTOW is a way of life which refuses to defer to women in defining the worth of men. Instead, it focuses on positive male aspects, inviting men to go their own way in life.

MGTOW refers to men committed to self-determination. MGTOW started out as guys who did whatever the f~~~ they want, not answering to anyone. They acted like men. Just because the times have changed and women are more toxic, and their behavior unchecked (comparative to previous generations) resulting in men swearing off women, or reducing their tolerance for their s~~~ doesn’t make that the standard for being MGTOW. Don’t confuse going galt with being MGTOW. A MGHOW is able to decide for himself what his future is, what his journey is. If he chooses to engage with women, that’s his prerogative. It’s men going their own way, not men being monks.

MGTOW is about personal freedom, maintaining male masculinity, and not catering to the demands, expectations of society. Esp when it comes to what is defined as being a “man”.
