    I find it amusing that all the MGTOW sites are frequent places with dating adds. Even though I realize some algorithm or code doesn’t know any better, I still think it’s amusing. Like a woman trying to p~~~ up a tree.

    As a former heavy user of dating sites (just the plain vanilla ones) I have mixed thoughts on this.

    I recall that it could be somewhat rewarding to email women, set up a time and place and go on a date. On the other hand, I also remember the bulls~~~, and part of it was from the dating system itself, with the stupid site acting as a broker.

    Before they were bought out by Smatch, okstupid had this gem of an article, which shows how you get screwed over by paying.

    The other side of the coin is wishful thinking, returning to the plantation and all that. When meeting new people, I find it easy to get swept away with thoughts of daily life and to temporarily forget everything about MGTOW, the red-pill, or past wrongs that got me here in the first place.

    I find it totally plausible that lots of guys might want to return to dating, but this time trying out their new red pill attitude.
