I’m sure everyone has heard the phrase “she has daddy issues” when it comes to women who became porn stars or strippers. I’m curious what you guys think about the concept of “daddy issues”, from a MGTOW POV. Is it blaming men once again or something else?

I think it’s about the girl with issues blaming daddy. But let’s be real, she made all her bad choices herself.

Wow, talk about a minefield…

There are a few things I can come up with.

1) Society has programmed her that everything that is wrong with her life is men’s fault, so she blames the first man she ever met.

2) Daddy did not love her enough so she never understood how an honorable man should treat and respect a women. As a result she seeks love from older father figures to offset this deficit and is taken advantage of in this evil patriarchal world.

3) Daddy was not rich enough to give her the Disney childhood she deserved, so she has a lot of resentment and acts out to punish him.

I am sure there are many others…

As far as I know/have seen:

– girls with daddy issues either have a crush on their own dad (the oedipus complex, but for girls) or just want sexual relationships with older men, so they can call them “daddy” whenever they have sex;

– the world is a very scary place and they need a big strong man to keep them safe;

– girls/women will always be childish, and since a daddy/daddy-figure is very big and strong in a child’s eyes, they feel safe when they call their partner daddy;

– girls don’t have to do s~~~ in today’s society, so when the time comes when they have to work for a living, they rather seek an older man to take care of them in every aspect. This also includes adult babying (yeah, tons of those sites on tumblr) where they give up ALL responsibility, become full princesses and have “daddy” to deal with everything real life throws at them.

They like Daddy because he was the perfect provider and protector no matter what she did. Why can’t all men be like daddy and provide for her.
