PRAGUE — The man poised to lead the Czech Republic following elections this week is a polarizing billionaire who vows to drain the swamp of this capital city’s politics, run his country like a business and keep out Muslim immigrants.

—–I like this guy. Brussels pushed to far and now the people are taking countries back in the current elections.

He casts himself as the straight-talking voice of the common man and derives support from the country’s forgotten communities. He makes a sport of attacking the European Union and says NATO’s mission is outdated. He pledges to put his own nation’s interests above all else but is dogged by investigations into alleged shady dealings that threaten to cripple his political career.

This election upset is a game changer in many ways. These nationalist movements popping up across the nations of Europe, with these groups winning elections are going to force the unelected European Union government to either put up and become one tyrannical nation overthrowing these nationalist elected governments, or shut up and lead the European Union fall apart.

Accidentally, I am from Czech republic, so let me just clarify the things a little bit to you – for better understanding.

This man is nothing but a liar. During the communist time (1945-1989), he was a collaborator of the STB (czech version of KGB, responsible for death and suffering of many people, including some of my family members). He gathered a network of contacts, which he used when he started building his junk food empire. Sure, he earned some money on his own, but most profit came from government / EU grants (YES, that EU he has been attacking so desperately in the time of upcoming election). He despises small businesses and does anything within his power to destroy it. He even misused the Tax office from his position as Minister of finance to bully companies that criticized his practices in public. Because of him as the biggest producer, the fields are full of colza. Just a few weeks before election, he made sure the Parliament would accept the act that the colza oil would become a compulsory component of diesel fuel (so called BIO diesel).

Also, his party is just a bunch of puppets ran by him, basically a one man show. This so called party does not have any programme, they just check the mood in our society and adjust their behaviour accordingly in order to collect as many votes as possible. He changes his opinions more often than a shirt. He does not give a s~~~ about our country, he is just thirsty for more money and power over the citizens. Best thing – he is not even Czech (born in Slovakia). The only thing he is capable of is repeating the same stupid demagogic phrases all over again and again. Unfortunately most people in Czech republic cannot see it, as they sell their vote for freakin donuts.

Also, the EU is not ideal and I would really love to see it reformed, but we do not have many other options. It is either EU and NATO, or Russia. The russians have occupied our country for over 40 years and ruined everything. Obviously I am happy that we do not let anyone screw up with us anymore, just like Poland or Hungary, but not the russians again, please. Of course, he would never leave EU since it would mean being cut off the grants coming from it.

In the states we have had more then a year of the same things being said,..still being said about Donald Trump,…still being said about him here. Until the man put out a policy that is total crap I am going to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

He sounds like any other politician I ever heard of barring two or three.
You say it’s a choice between the EU/NATO and Russia. You forgot the last choice: Independence from those. A sovereign nation. At least the hardship necessary to go that route would be worth it rather than the hardships imposed by the Princes in Brussels that would only lead to a Greece-like situation.
