First and foremost, the streaming revolution is an example of how the internet and its culture of freedom of information is making our world a better place.
Who would have heard of MGTOW if it were not for the internet? MGHOWs would be isolated and alone with no counterpoint to the intense pressure to conform to society’s demands. It’s great to have backup!
Bundling is one of my chief objections to cable and satellite TV. I do not wish to pay for shows I am not ever going to watch. I absolutely do not want to pay for shows I find objectionable, namely all those “father is an idiot” sitcoms — not one penny for that crap!
However, I might try streaming someday.
Streaming to Revolutionize Delivery of Entertainment, Sports, and News in 2016

Anonymous42Yea, cut the cable, I did, it makes a great Tarzan swing! (true story)
Supposedly Canadian TV is getting the option to pick what channels you want. But I don’t really care because I don’t watch TV much anymore. The homemade stuff on Youtube is better.
I save $60 per month by not having feminist cable piped to my house
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.
Does anyone on here use Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV? I was just wondering which one works the best as far as streaming and content availability. I’ve heard a lot of good about the Roku player and plan on cutting the cable this month.
Anonymous0I have an AppleTV.
Cable. .cut.done. $ in my pocket.
I would LOVE to cut the cable. Nothing on TV interests me and 95% of it is fake/scripted nonsense. I honestly only watch about 2 or 3 channels on the rare occasion I turn my TV on, and I could totally live without them. For movies I have an Amazon Fire box and I’m happy with it. The voice commands are really accurate and work very well. Live sports would be a tough loss though…
However, the main reason I can’t cut the cord yet is because my cable company provides my internet. Is there a good alternative to this? I just need internet, I can live without cable. Any advice?
Anonymous24I think it has been about 10 years since I paid for T.V. in any form. It is mostly s~~~e anyhow. I to prefer Youtube stuff over about 99% of what’s on T.V./Cable.
I haven’t had cable since 1996. Books and now the internet is so much better.
Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.
Cable cutting has been gaining steam. Why pay a big ass bill and then not have the channels you want? They screw you sideways, try to bundle s~~~, it’s a scam. Right now, I can watch any show I want in HD whenever the f~~~ I want. Cable is going the way of the Dodo, maybe if they treated us like human beings, I’d have it, but they won’t so I don’t.
Too bad, you reap what you sew, motherf~~~ers. That goes double for women.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

Same here. They only sell bundles. It sucks.
I did call them 5 days ago and told them I was paying way too much for a lot of worthless crap and had no choice but to cut the cost way back. I talked them into almost the same internet service but less crappy TV I don’t watch, and cut the bill exactly in half. I still get the 2 channels I actually watch even. They have a bit more flexibility than they let on."I am is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that I do is the longest sentence?" - George Carlin

I recommend looking into the $40 Raspberry Pi2 with Openelec. It’s cheaper and a hell of a lot more flexible than a Roku or Apple TV. If you’re on a really tight budget, the single core Pi Zero is only $5 and plays just as well as the four core Pi2, but the openelec interface isn’t quite as snappy running on that single core.

I have an AppleTV and Raspberry Pi. I have yet to set up the Raspberry Pi as an additional Home Media Center. I plan on using it along side other streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, etc.
