if anyone has an Xbox 1 then I suggest they download this game. Only £10 and is absolutely brilliant

amazing art style and music, rock hard old school gameplay – is pretty much a boss run game with run and gun levels thrown in for some variety. Can’t recommend it highly enough

saw it in tfm vids, that game is whack.

once you get past the cartoon design, its still a side scrolling shooter. meh.

side scrollers are great! Plus it is just nice to play a game that doesn’t hold your hand and takes practice to beat

I’ve seen many streamers just give up on this game. I love the style, art, music, absolutely love it. But there’s no way in hell i would ever play this game. I do enough banging my head against the wall at work, i don’t need to come home and do the same thing.

But hats of to the devs, they captured those 30s cartoons as well as they could have been captured. Did an amazing job. but this is not a game for ‘casuals’.

Frustrating but fun, the retro cartoon visual aspect is what I most enjoy. My kids love it, a game we can all play together.

it’s like Bloodborne – it is frustrating but extremely rewarding when you finally beat that boss you thought was impossible

Just started playing this game last night. Absolutely amazing and loving the art style. I am usually very calm and slow to anger, but this game gives me the urge to throw my controller after playing for a couple of hours.

I nearly smashed my controller to bits when doing that bee boss – doesn’t feel like the game cheats though so I am happy to have the difficulty

incredible art style (really reminds and takes me back to the time of mickey mouse castle of illusion on sega genesis) but i absolutely HATE hard games. as a kid it was ok, but i don’t want to be frustrated. i just want to play and enjoy the game as a casual gamer. this one is made for purists and core gamers, not the mass market sadly.
