When I was 12 years old a old nasty c~~~ (about 85) threw a pot of boiling water at me for riding my bike on the sidewalk, I saw her moving quickly with a nasty mean evil face! That alone made me peddle as hard as I could! Had I stopped to reason with her I would have been scarred for life!

Yeah, this is common practice.

One summer I worked in an emergency room in the South. Every two or three weekends we would see what is known as the “Red Devil”. With this hideous practice, a woman would first boil molasses.
