Anonymous0I’ve been dabbling with Bitcoin for a little bit, but I plan on putting my capital after basic bills have been covered towards this and other coins so to speak. I’d also like to hear your thoughts on this as well. I’m not an expert on this by any means, but this sounds like the next best thing for us going our own way.
Anonymous6Crypto currency doesn’t have anything backing it up. So how does it have value? Now i wish i would have bought $100 dollars worth of bitcoin in 2007, i’d be rich right now. I see crypto currency as a way to make some fast money but not long term money. Buy low, sell high before it crashes.
Anonymous0My advice:
Buy precious metals, the real thing, not stocks
Unlike Bitcoin which is a nebulous concept, gold and silver are real and you can hold it in your hand. If times get tough, you can always use it as currency. By “tough” I mean stock market collapse. In the case of divorce, she can’t get it if you hide it right.gold and silver are real and you can hold it in your hand.
Gold, silver, and lead should be where one makes their investments.
Cryptocurrencies only exist as long as the power is turned on.

You could say the same thing about US Federal Reserve notes…ironically enough.
Nothing manmade lasts forever. I like Crypto simply because of the way the economy really works on a deeper level. Our fiat has nothing backing it, and yet crypto is backed by our fiat. Really, gold and silver are literally just minerals. Things only have the value we give them. When the SHTF even gold will be valueless because you cant eat it. The reality is that on a macro scale, all forms of currency are just a false socially agreed upon manner of exchange. I like crypto, even though I don’t hold any just yet, simply because its decentralized. As long as people accept it as a form of payment, I’ll use it when I can. But I do agree, it is EXTREMELY volatile. I doubt we could have a global EMP but, these days, nothing can be ruled out. Money really was created to divide humanity by class, when really it’s our skills and ability to contribute to society which holds the REAL value.
Just my two cents. (how much does that equal in bitcoin?)
PEACE

You may want to learn about gold before making a judgement about it.
And yes, you can, and do, in fact eat it.
Ok.. maybe you can actually EAT it. It is only a mineral after all. The fact though is that you can’t live on it. There very little nutritional value there.
I stand by what I said. Gold in of itself, and by extension all money is literally valueless when it come to sustaining life.
