Hey guys, I have been doing xc sking on my own for about 5 years, found a cheap set of boots/skies and a pawn shop and went to town knowing nothing about the sport.

Does anyone here actually know a lot about this? I am ready to invest in a better pair of skies that are the right size, learn skate style etc etc.

I used to see x country skiers in the middle of nowhere on the snowmobile trails. Stay of the trails when it’s snowing, you can’t hear them coming and they can’t see you in the snow, wear reflective clothing if you’re going night skiing under a full moon. I always wanted to go moon skiing but we were always too tired to hike up the mountain from all day skiing.

Great way to get in cardio-vascular shape.

It is a great winter outdoor sport. It can be really cheap, mainly because you do not have to go to high dollar resorts. Cross country skiing can be done anywhere there is deep snow.

Full disclosure: I no longer live in snow country, and my info on the best gear would be many years out of date. Ask around at a vendor you can trust, perhaps REI.

Full disclosure 2: When it snows where I live, it gets on the TV and newspaper news! “Film at eleven!”

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
