Okay, seems the plot has thickened. I keep getting messages from my brother’s wife. She got an affidavit in the mail. All of a sudden she wants me to do something about it. Talked to my brother and he is in “I don’t give two f~~~s about her” mode. Below is her last message to me. I will be deleting names for the safety of my brother and his kids.
“So why cant u write me back? We got the affidavit in the mail this week. which means my name is not cleared and i could go to jail. Do u think that is what (brother) would want? Or my kids? Or the fact im under medical treatment and feel like my world is crashing down on me. Ussa wouldnt just replace the money unless u agreed to an investigation. What exactly happened when u talked to usaa? My parents have banked with the for years. They said they wouldnt of just replaced the money. So what is going on? Dies (brother) need ti call the fraud dept and see? I have ur money to pay u back weither u want it or not. Pls just let me fix this. You need to either call (brother) again now or call me. Im not trying to be a bitch. I f~~~ed up bc i was on strong pain meds. Ive never ever have done a bad thing in my life. This here is eating me alive and i need u to help me. Family. At the end of the day are family. Your gonna have to forgive me at some point. I have a non curable disease and on my very first treatment I had an adverse reaction. It is a strong possibly that this may never go away and i will live in constant pain. Not to mention im passing a kidney stone right now and my memory is s~~~. So i have to have more testing done. Pls all of this is is killing me. And im stressed to the max. Ive suffer daily. Pls. Just help me make this right. I cant do this much longer before it literally does kill me. Please. (Brother) wants all this fixed too. Help us. Call us. We need to know what they told u.”

The disease she refers to. My mother had it too. My mother took care of it and didn’t take medicine that made her do stupid s~~~.
Talked to my brother. Seems what she says my brother said wasn’t said. She is trying to use my love for my brother to her own means.
She talks a lot about loving my niece and nephew, but I never hear of her doing anything with them besides trying to use them against my brother. They don’t even like her. They keep asking my brother for a “stepmom”.
What USAA does to someone who stole money from them is none of my concern. I let my brother know what I have told USAA and that if legal proceedings happen, it is out of my hands. The CARD act of 2009 took the burden of theft pursuit out of the hands of the cardholder and has given it to the Banks. It is up to the Bank if they want to pursue legal action or not.
Anyway, I figure you guys would like an update, or not. This is the true insight of the female mind. Commit a crime, but come up with hundreds of different excuses why it wasn’t their fault and why they’re the victim.
