For everyone that is going to be cooking for Thanksgiving, here is a nifty little recipe for cranberry sauce instead of that purple sludge you find in cans.

    Here is what you’ll need:
bag of cranberries (atleat 12 oz or 2 cups)
    1 cup of Orange Juice
    1 cup of Sugar
    A stove to cook on
A small pot to cook it in
A spoon/fork to stir and mash the berries

    Here’s the to do list:
    1. Rinse all the pots and containers, as well as the cranberries themselves, sand tastes gross.
    2. Pour the cranberries into the pot. Followed by the Sugar and orange juice.
    3. Cook over a medium-high flame
    4. Continuously stir the cranberries
    5. When you hear the cranberries start to pop, keep stirring until all the berries cease to pop, or start crushing them with a fork/spoon, make sure to set the flame to low at this point as well
    6. Let the berries settle a little until you see the purple color come out and then turn off the fire.

This is optional, but I like to do this because I dislike chunky cranberry sauce.
    7. Keep mashing the berries until mostly their outer shells remain while everything on the inside meshes with the rest of what should look like jam or sauce at this point.

    8. Pour your sauce into a suitable bowl or container and its ready.

    Couple end notes…
    1. Don’t hold back on the sugar, cranberries are very tart so you need a lot of sugar to reverse that to make them edible.
    2. Beware this recipe contains a lot of sugar because of note #1.
    3. This makes an awesome dip for turkey and biscuits

    And thats that.
    Have an Awesome Thanksgiving everyone.

    Pen,
I am giving it a try. Bought a bag of cranberries and was wondering how to cook the little buggers. A lot of sugar but I trust your recipe

    Hope your cooking this too.
    Happy Thanksgiving to all MGTOW.
