I just found a dvd in a thrift store that has the first five episodes. Have’nt watched it yet, but heard it was good. Also, I know you can find it all online free, but I like having hard copies for some reason…

I think it is just because I am old… I have a massive collection of hard copy stuff… Including over 1k VHS… lol

I have watched some anime on the advice of younger guys I have been gaming with online for years. My favorite so far was Ghost in the Shell from 95. I see they are making a live action movie out of it with Scarlett Johanssen, probably won’t be seeing it unless I can do so for free.

I also liked Akira.

MGTOW Age, if you like Cowboy Bebop, I suggest Outlaw start (A good space treasure hunt series), Trigun (a western on an alien world), and Black Lagoon (Think every modern action movie put into one anime series. The series is about modern day pirates set in the mid 1990’s, with likely the single largest collection of dark badass women in anime, though the badass men in the series can hold their own as well.)

Thanks Faust For Science, you have piqued my curiosity. Will have to check those out. I seldom watch anything, so it sounds like I am in for some cool stuff when I want some R&R.

You’re welcome. Most of the series I listed are sold rather cheaply in DVD boxsets. Black Lagoon has Season 1 and Season 2 in a single boxset for DVD/Blu-Ray. While the Third Season is sold separately. But, all three seasons are from the same english dub case and are worth the money.

I couldn’t get into this anime. It was one of the worst I’d seen at the time. Incredibly boring and the music was annoying as hell. I think I watched about 3 episodes before I deleted it.

Hi DarkRyu, I started off that way with it, but I don’t know, some how it grew on me & got me hooked. Fullmetal Alchemist & Attack On Titan were Anime I watched before this one.
