Since becoming a member of this website, my eyes have become opened to just how entrenched gynocentrism is in American and Western European society.  As a result, from time to time, I have minor epiphanies that make me look at something that I have read or seen in a different light.

Not long ago I read a book called the Goliath Stone.  It is a science fiction novel, published in 2013 that was written by Larry Niven and Matthew Joseph Harrington.  I am an avid SF fan and Larry Niven is one of my favorite writers in this genre.

One of the characters, Dr. Toby Glyer, has effected great leaps in health with the use of nano technology.  People could recover from chornic illnesses and injuries quite rapidly.  This Dr. Glyer released them in to the world’s population.  One of the effects of the nanobots was that men only became sexually aroused if the female was aroused.  Also, women only became pregnant if they were satisfied with their mates.  There was a resultant drop in the pregnancy rates except in certain minority demographics like the Amish.  Not that the Amish weren’t infected with the nanobots but it was implied that there was a social-cultural reason for this.

When I first read this I though it was an amusing idea as the two central characters (male and female) had a good relationship and active sex life.  Now I am just horribly creeped out.

This subtext within the book implies several things.

Women were not getting pregnant because of their dissatisfaction with their husbands – Procreative rights now firmly in the hands of women.

Women were not getting pregnant becasue of the lack of sex in their relationships because they were not in the mood – Sex now useable a true weapon of manipulation even more than ever before.  I’m not happy therefore, no boners for you.

Nanobots would heal injuries.  Can’t remember if it was stated in the book but they may reverse a vasectomy.

Translation – women have complete and total control over a man’s ability to procreate and his libido.

I believe that if technology allowed woman to involuntarily control men’s libido in general they would.

I have put a link for the book in amazon below so that you could read the synopsis.

I would love to hear what you guys think.

    Plot

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.

The most thought-provoking MGTOW SF thing I read was “a ticket to Tranai” by Sheckley. This was a shot at a future utopia where things would actually work out.

The book is a good reflection of the Western World today, except the nanobots and some other SF elements.

    * “Procreative rights now firmly in the hands of women.” Yep.
    * “Sex now useable a true weapon of manipulation” Yep, it’s that way now, and the nanobots will only make it worse as you say.
    * “I believe that if technology allowed woman to involuntarily control men’s libido in general they would.” You can count on it.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
