Male White Privilege be everywhere! Now colleges teach male white guilt as the standard course…
http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=6770
Unless these t~~~’s classes are somehow mandatory, students with a thimble full of brain matter would simply not take them. Of course the classes are for “women’s studies”.
(“Multiple professors at Washington State University have explicitly told students their grades will suffer if they use terms such as “illegal alien,” “male,” and “female,” or if they fail to “defer” to non-white students.
According to the syllabus for Selena Lester Breikss’ “Women & Popular Culture” class, students risk a failing grade if they use any common descriptors that Breikss considers “oppressive and hateful language.”
According to [Professor Rebecca Fowler’s] syllabus, students will lose one point every time they use the words “illegal alien” or “illegals” rather than the preferred terms of “‘undocumented’ migrants/immigrants/persons.” Throughout the course, Fowler says, students will “come to recognize how white privilege functions in everyday social structures and institutions.”
“The socio-legal production of migrant illegality works to systematically dehumanize and exploit these brown bodies for their labor,” Fowler continued.”)It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”
Voltaire
By the way. Is it “oppressive and hateful language” if you are not allowed to say it?
““Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn’t there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who’s to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you’re looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.”

I don’t necessarily disagree with a professor that would have their students “think outside of the box” in so far as communicating ideas, but to penalize someone that is trying to communicate and express ideas with the words that they have chosen, well, that’s another form of fascism.
Double plus bad.
"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.
Political correction bullies, is what this has turned into, complete and utter s~~~fest.
I just hope the proposition, the right to offend, goes through, so all the special snowflakes can go in a f~~~ing corner, if they don’t like to see/hear other people’s opinions, or facing a simple disagreement to their bulls~~~ narrative.
If only the crazy bunch, in the PC cluster would understand this simple term,
I just don’t get it. I can’t understand why men would pay to go to a business and deal with borderline abusive behavior, have their every action (and inaction) questioned, and place themselves at risk for lifelong blacklisting if a female decides on a whim to label you a rapist.
Colleges and universities are service providers. You pay them money. They provide a service (education). There’s a contract that pretty much states that if you, the consumer, do xyz (pass your classes), then you’ll receive a diploma. Period. That’s its purpose. You can tout all sorts of snooty social and self-important higher education crap all day long but the bottom line is: you’re paying for a service.
I would never go to a restaurant where the meal is too expensive, the service is s~~~ty, and odds are I’ll get kicked out before I finish my meal if I literally look at the waitress wrong. Why the f~~~ are men still going to college? Because you need a degree to get a job? F~~~ that. I wonder if there’s been a study done that shows just how long it takes to pay off college debt vs. getting into a job that only requires certifications.
I see s~~~ like this all the time and whenever I make a post, I say the same thing: stop going to college until they change and, since they are a f~~~ing business that requires customers, you can bet your ass they’d change if 40% of their revenue stream dried up.
If you MUST get a degree, go to either an all-men’s college or get your degree online.
F~~~ college and the mess they’ve become.

Terms like “illegal alien” are ipso facto correctly used. That is what these words mean. The PC crowd are becoming such extreme thought police that they have to re-write our lexicon so people dont think of these debated topics as matters of fact, but rather use words to make everyone view it from the liberals perspective.
The fact that this is not only taught in college but if someone merely uses certain WORDS to express their own point of view, they are punished with a lower score?!? This is insane.
Resident cynic.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Anonymous42Their not crazy, we are! Don’t you know that! It’s us that are always wrong 500% of the time! We tell them bricks dropped on your foot will hurt! What do they do? Drop a pallet of bricks on their feet, and blame us EVERY TIME!
Fascist Feminist culture has inundated universities with nigh time WOOMBAT thinking, a product of the hive! We have 0.00% say there, they don’t listen to men, just women and what’s on their mind. It’s a cult of female illusions, inanities, everything to blow a mans mind!
We can see the fruits of their understanding in all the destruction around us, that’s why we run for our lives!
MGTOW philosophy will only be allowed in universities when we’re standing knee deep in rubble, the wreckage feminism left behind! In my mind, one of the purposes of college is to expose you to a RANGE of ideas. I studied Engineering, so not so much of that, since I didn’t study the humanities extensively. But I did study the Classics, Economics, Psychology, Linguistics, and a few other introductory courses. Most of what I know, I decidedly did NOT learn at college.
Many college graduates are snotty and feel they are better than blue collar workers. And a lot of college students are DRUNKS. So I don’t have any great love of graduates.
Unfortunately, if you want to enter and progress in some professions, it’s difficult without the degree. A lot of that is due to employer policies (can’t promote technicians to Engineers unless they have a degree, for example, in my profession). It also goes back to schools not offering more distance learning and not allowing students to test out of courses they’ve self-studied on.
Getting back to my main point, looking at something like the Valenti-McElroy debate on Rape Culture, it’s just really chilling. First, that the University President gets involved, thinking there needs to be a COUNTER to the debate, when MULTIPLE views are already represented (Valenti vs McElroy) AND the need for the ridiculous ‘safe space’. Essentially, a room with cookies, soothing music, and play dough where no one is allowed to make any critical statements or controversial statements. ‘Safe Space’ = ‘Boring Space’ to me! College students should learn to defend their ideas and learn RHETORIC AND CRITICAL THINKING. Entire departments have been created at Universities in my lifetime (Black Studies, Women’s Studies come to mind) that the Humanities has become political groupthink… I have nothing against studying, say, Black History, but isolating those engaged in it from the History Department, just promotes radical politics and groupthink.

Keep in mind, WSU is a (mostly) state funded University. I wonder if there’s a way we could sue under title 9 or something because they’re openly discriminating against students of European origin?
Side note: I grew up poorer than most black/hispanic kids in my town because my mother refused to take any welfare, unemployment excepted because she paid into that along with her employer. Try going to school every day and having the kids rip you apart for having highwater jeans or patches on your knees( seriously – did you have to pick raggedy ann and andy Mom?).
Then you manage to get into college and then they tell you how privileged you are to be white and male and how everyone else is disadvantaged compared to you and therefore deserve preferential treatment. Talk about a trigger.

Seconding this very hard. I not only worked in a college for five years I also attended the same college. It really is about making money… for the college, not the students! The college doesn’t really care what happens to the students after they graduate and mostly just shrugs it’s shoulder and gives excuses if it wasn’t useful at all. Half of the time the professors are barely qualified and don’t know much more than a self-taught (sometimes knowing less) and chases trends forever and ever. Racism and sexism are taught as facts if the opinions are popular. I’m glad I left once the racism started. The more recently added sexism only makes it worse!
There was a tech/vocational school within walking distance of the college. About 70% of the people who went to that school found work in their field within a year or two. This includes the people fresh out of high school who chose to go to vocational school for the last few years instead of finishing in high school and had no experience in their field. Classes were taught by people with actual real-world experience and racism/sexism was avoided in favor of focusing on quality of work. The college? Maybe 30% found work within their field in the first two years after graduation and that’s if you’re a black woman with the government quotas there to make them hire you. If you’re white, especially a white male, good luck.
As an ex-part of the college machine, I can wholeheartedly say “F~~~ college!“. It’s not useful unless you want to be in law, medicine, heavy math, or something ending in -ology and, even then, most of those degrees will eventually land you as a teacher somewhere. Tech school or being self taught is infinitely more useful as the vast majority of employers want experience, a portfolio, and good references from within your field. A tech/vocational school will give you that. A college will NOT.
Beauty fades, dumb is forever.
When I graduated 20 years ago, tuition was about one third what it is now. The vocational school offers a lot more bang for your buck, and almost guaranteed job prospects. I have nothing but respect for tradesmen, but the public at large thinks differently. You ‘have’ to go to college to be a ‘success’. That is a load of crap. I can see going if you want to work in STEM since gatekeepers in HR keep you out without a degree. IT, not so much, since you can acquire certifications. law and medicine, yes. I see little value in a ‘business’ degree and even less in the humanities. I love studying the Humanities, History, and social science in my free time but it’s not practical to earn a living… Other than teaching.
Back when I graduated, it was so cheap, I had no debt when I graduated. Back when I graduated, the job market was terrible. But after 6 months, I finally found something and have been successful since. In my case it worked as far as making much more money than I would have without the degree, but I did it because I liked it.
Nowadays the situation is terrible. Even in STEM I know multiple recent graduated who have ‘failed to launch’ due to the economy. I would likely be in their shoes had I gotten out 20 years later than I did.
Are community colleges just as bad?
“Racial microaggressions”, male white guilt, male privilege….my god…
The educational system is coming to an abrupt end soon…
I don’t know whats more disturbing, the fact that most colleges are “pink ghettos” or the fact that this policy is
being pushed mainly by white women.Talk about genocide.
The internet makes college totally pointless. Particularly Khan Academy, where you can learn any science. College is 100% useless. College is now an arm of the communist machine and nothing more. People who go to college are paying for their own destruction.

I think it all depends on where you go and what you study. In high school I was a huge republican always watching fox news, joining republican groups on myspace, making republican friends online, etc so naturally I would see and hear just how liberal college was. I went to community college after high school and for me it was no where near as bad as other republicans made it out to be. Yes it has that liberal vibe, but the only classes where it showed were social science classes. I was child development major so I took a lot of those classes and it never came out. In math and science we just focused on class work. In English it sometimes came up in someones paper or in a discussion, but really the biggest problem I had with community college was trying to pass math.
I then transferred to a state college and again no problems. By that time though I had finished gen ed so I was pretty much in only child development classes with very few other classes. I lived at home, don’t sleep around, and when I dated my second girlfriend and then my first again they were both living at home too while going to community college so no worries there. All my professors in both colleges were very nice and helpful and I nevr had to deal with man hating. Child development classes are all taught by women and have mostly women students. There were times I was the only guy in the class or at most there were only 4 guys. Every time though we were never treated different and the women professors would always say they were happy to see men in the major and made sure we were always included. In community college I was the only guy in 1 child development class and when the teacher was speaking she said “now remember ladies” and then remembered I was in the class and said “and gentleman”.
Basically like I said early it all depends on the school and type of classes you take.
