I’m a student at college and feel like ranting about two things that have happened this semester. Here it goes:

    1. A musical ensemble I’m in went to a middle school to sing for the students interested in music. Of course, the lyrics worship the glorious women, and one song is about a guy that has no money and can’t get the girl he wants. After that song, one of the boys raises his hand to ask a question and our professor calls on him. The boy says “If she won’t marry him because he is poor, then she’s a gold digger!”. I barely succeed in not bursting out laughing and then after the professor takes the astonished look off his face, he says “Well… that’s just the way it is”. Whatever it’s not that way for me, but I wasn’t going to express that and risk my grade.

    2. History professor is lecturing about the Renaissance. Somehow that leads to him complaining about a relative of his that doesn’t think taxpayers should pay for free education for college students or something like that. Then that somehow leads to one of those stupid EEEEEEEDUCAAAATIOOOON!!!!!!! rants. It basically boiled down to people just need to get an education and then they’ll get tons of money that they will use to support their families (because of course we’ll marry and have one) and then the world will be perfect and we’ll all sing kumbaya together and all that bulls~~~. He also brought up that myth that because of tenure, college professors and students are allowed free speech. No we aren’t, not the students at least. Read the student conduct handbook’s ambiguous definition of sexual harassment or the bit about discrimination and try telling me that again.

You’re paid to teaching the subject, not preach your worldview during class. F~~~ the “greater good” or whatever you call it, I do my own thing.

As a college student, myself, I can tell you that college is bulls~~~. Free speech is fading away at this point, especially in schools and especially in social media.

Be careful out there doing your own thing.

I’ve seen the feminist propaganda and other bulls~~~ infecting Finnish universities for a while now.

Perhaps it was for the better that I didn’t pass that University Entry Exam. I won’t have to put up with all that crap

Agreed. I live off campus and don’t discuss anything potentially controversial with anyone at school except one other mghow. Even then, I spent two semesters around that guy gradually finding out how safe it was to share my opinions. Eventually he asked me if I had heard of mgtow.
