A year ago I let my receptionist go.

A few weeks later, I noticed a young woman dressed to the nines sitting in the waiting room.
She appeared to be clutching a resume. I did not know this woman from Eve.
I saw a patient, and on sending the patient off the woman gets up and moves towards my door.

I look at her and said firmly “No”.

She looks confused.

“No”- and I gesture towards the exit..

Woman sulks off.

I call my next patient in.

This happened prior to my MGTOW epiphany- but I can say first hand that “No” is a very efficient word.
