So a cupcake that started here part time got in my face for my “tone”. She asked what type of cups are sent to the rooms at my job, and I replied with “paper cups, because the glass mugs are too much maintenance to clean.”
She then went OFF on me for my “tone”. Then complained to my manager she felt “threatened” by me “mansplaining”.

And for the record I live in Chicago. Sadly s~~~ like this is common here.

Giving her the cold shoulder today. Amazing how her attitude changed to be nice to me after I’ve told her “I don’t know” when our Manager isn’t around.
She knows I know. I’m just telling her I don’t. Lol. My boss told me to “be nice to her” because “if she leaves because she’s uncomfortable working with you, it screws us because we’re short a person.”
Well, I have been consistently screwed here being understaffed anyways, so oh well. One less potential HR incident to worry about.
