I did. Luke Coombs was the only country song I saw that wasn’t a throwback. The rest was just pop and rock stuff that was not good.

Ok, Blake’s song was country… and Garth is trying to make a new “friends in low places” hit with Dive bar (but it sucks).

Overall, was boring. No moving moments… maybe those were in the first 45 minutes, which I missed.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

I can’t watch modern award shows. And I do love country. Recently on a long drive listening to the Garth channel – they played “I kissed a girl” about every 3 hours. WTF does that have to do with country?

Where did stuff like this go?

I don’t really watch the award shows. Bunch of fake people, doing fake s~~~, to fake people liking them with hopes to be spotted by the Camera crew.

Its a SAD sad state of affairs. Its one of the reasons why I liked being on the road. I liked going into bars and a live band would play.

I wished I had more time to work around the midwest. That would have been a dream come true.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

I know, this is fairly pathetic.

I used to watch Austin City Limits when I was a kid: Buck Owens, George Strait, Sons of San Joanquin, Alan Jackson.

I don’t even listen to country anymore, but these guys were the real deal. Great performers surrounded by great musicians. It really enriched my childhood.

Why are there no great female lead guitar players? There is a reason.

#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.

Galatians 5:1 (KJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

There is no “country music” nowasays. Luke Combs is the closest thing we have.

There’s still some out there, usually bearing the label of “alt-country”, but it certainly doesn’t make it onto the radio. This mainstream bro-/pop-country crap is unlistenable.
