Am I the only person here who thinks that modern cartoons are s~~~?

Well … there are some okay modern cartoons … but most modern cartoons are s~~~. I am confident that cartoons will only get s~~~tier as they become more politically correct. The old classic cartoons will always be the best ones.

In this thread, we post classics from the good old days when cartoons were good. These cartoons will likely be erased from history within a few decades. Enjoy them while you still can.

    Popeye cartoons are the best!

Fun Fact: Sony was going to make an animated Popeye movie … but they cancelled it in favor of the goddamn Emoji Movie. The whole world is turning to s~~~.

In July of 2018, this honey pot forum was sold out to an unidentified NPC sock puppet and troll organization. Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want. Before my departure, I only left a few thousand cat pics here to comfort and ridicule the feminist owners who now run this place. Their background agenda is to make MGTOW look like a club of losers the public eye. And during the course of 2019, they actually managed to destroy almost all other MGTOW venues as well. Here is the truth about "theindependentman.org" aka "TIM" which was created as an extended workbench to further divide the community. When you register, they install a spyware Zombie cookie on your browser that does all kinds of things the user does not know of: http://www.filedropper.com/essay-on-the-removal-of-malware-cookies-used-by-tim

Tom & Jerry are one of my all time favorites.

All YouTube clips are butchered down from the original 7 minutes to 3 minutes…

Here is the DVD Set I bought some time ago. 24 disks, around 20 Euros, dirt cheap!

Contains almost all English language episodes.

The rescue after “Boomerang U.K.” was encrypted in 2003 and the European mainland couldn’t get it legally anymore…

    And of course:

    The Smurfs.

I have recently bought this set:

It contains all episodes from the early to mid-1980’s. Those which were good.

    And the “Looney Tunes”.

This set only contains a few of the actual episodes. I keep hoping that they will all come out on DVD one day.

    BTW:

I bought most Box Sets off eBay for a better price.

Ninja Turtles 1987 series. Seriously, they need to bring this series back on TV for the modern kids to watch. By the way, Leonardo is by far my favorite Ninja Turtle and Casey Jones is my favorite non-turtle.

Bugs Bunny in Falling Hare (1943): Bugs Bunny is my favorite Looney Tunes character.

    Boy Meets Dog (1938):

    Have you Any Castles (1938):

Little Lulu – About Without A Trout:

    Casper The Friendly Ghost:

The Wabbit Who Came To Supper (Bugs Bunny):

    A Corny Concerto:

As you can see, I have a big background in old cartoons. And I like them in their old condition instead of remaster. I think cartoons were much better 70 or so years ago than the ones today. They didn’t need computers and politics to make a good show then.

No. I agree. I am also sick to death of these modern films (a la Disney Pixar) that are purely computer-generated graphics visually but with human voice-overs; they have been done to death and they make me appreciate older films with actual people in them, cartoons that were hand-coloured/drawn, and puppet films/stories (a la Gerry/Sylvia Anderson).
