Just came across the above article. The oh so tolerant and peaceful Left are now arming themselves and are prepared to use their weapons against their opponents. Is Civil war coming closer?

As Australia is often behind the USA in these events it might happen here as well.

No. At this point, the U.S. is not going to have a civil war. What will happen is Antifa is going to push one to many times and President Trump drop the hammer on them. The U.S. federal government already stated they consider Antifa is a terrorist organization. If they continue, these idiots are going to find themselves in gitmo.

I run across random dudes via MMO gaming from around the world who talk about this going down in the U.S. more and more of late, both from the Left and the Right.

Nothing is going to happen, people will continue to be expertly played against one another, and if any group rises up too much the Government will put them down fast and all MSM will turn against them. There will however, without a doubt, be much more leeway given to Leftist groups by both MSM and the Government, this is because the vast majority of money men and driving forces are Marxist Globalist types.
