I think maybe things might be different in China? I dated a chinese gal about 10 years ago while in college. She was only in america for a year or so and her english was not the best but you could understand her.

She told me that women were worshiped in China and all the men did what ever the could to keep their women. She relationship was horrible (but a lot of them were, so no change there). She was controlling, manipulative. She was able to get me in a situation where she took control of my money. After I fixed that I decided it’s time to leave. I did the same thing! I left a text and thought I’d just leave. It’s s~~~ty but I wanted a clean break. I didn’t want her to have any say in any discussion we might have on it. She calls me up and says “do you think you can get rid of me? I’m going to be here for a long time”. I can’t describe the horror I felt.

She really did believe that she was something really special. I got to laugh about that now. The amount of bliss I have now “going my own way” has such contrast to this story. I guess some of us are able to survive the carnival ride and live long enough in order to leave the amusement park.
