Developing those man-made islands seems to paying off for the PLA. We should have started developing these islands also imo.
The article also says that Japan has launched 900 intercept missions the past year to intercept Chinese fighter aircraft that crossed over into Japan’s air defense identification zone, mostly the Senkaku Islands. I was aware of China doing this but not that often, that’s nearly 3 sorties per day every day.

This concerns me more than North Korea. Simply because I think China would take the NK side in a conflict with the US.

I agree with you on all points Market Watcher. The last thing China wants is us or R.O.K. on the opposite side of the Yalu River. I hope we’re both wrong, but history disagrees with us 🙁

The US keeps long-range B2 Lancer bombers on Guam.
This is a permanent strategic base for them.
Why wouldn’t they practice dealing with a potential enemy.
I can’t blame them. It makes logical sense to me.
