I have heard through some Trump speeches that China is ripping us off through trade.

We also owe them quite a bit of money along with our jobs being outsourced.

What happens if China demands the money we owe them?

Could any of you guys ever see a war with them or restrictions on outsourcing, new trade regulations, or strict immigration?

Funny clip on Trump, Chinese, and McDonalds.

I could really just use some none biased info on our situation with them.

Thanks for any info, any opinions welcomed.

China is in a double bind with the USA.

    * They hold a huge chunk of USA’s national debt. They will lose it all if they go to war with the USA. They will lose most of it if they undermine the US Dollar.
    * The USA is the biggest customer for their cheap crap. Again as above, they stand to lose it all.
    * They want to become a dominant world power. To do this they must shoulder the USA aside. Ditto standing to lose it all.

To China’s advantage, they think and plan in terms of centuries, while the USA’s leaders think only of the next fiscal quarter or the next election cycle for the far-sighted among them.

I have no doubt that China has something up its collective sleeve which the Western World has not caught on to, and it won’t until it’s too late.

I don’t think China is so much the problem as are our own stupid policies…and its a double ended problem. China is just like, well, if they’re that dumb, we’ll take advantage of them.

If companies stay here, they have to pay some of the highest corporate tax rates into one of the most complicated tax systems in the world full of loopholes, write offs, and tax credits the government implements as a means of social engineering.

If companies move abroad, they can avoid the above problem, and thanks to free trade agreements import things here tax free!

Why the hell wouldn’t they move? They can pay lower corporate tax rates elsewhere and just import things for little or no import taxes. We shouldn’t essentially punish them for staying and reward them for leaving…we should be doing the opposite, and that is what Trump is getting at when he wants to lower corporate tax rates and increase import taxes. Its too bad he’s trolling around talking about big macs rather than being a little more professional, people might take him a little more seriously…but in the end I’d still vote for him over either of the candidates the democrats are presenting as both of them just think taxing businesses into oblivion is the solution to all our problems.

Lottery: This is just my opinion, but I’ll give it a shot.

I don’t think China is ripping us off from a trade standpoint. We choose to trade with them and they can provide what we want at a cheaper price than we can make things for. It is our choice to leave tariffs low and make our own manufacturing non-competitive. So, now we can all shop at Walmart with our welfare checks. I doubt that is a better answer in the long run, but what do I know.

What is worse is US companies going to China to manufacture. The government their steals all of the technology that the US company brings and then goes into direct competition with them. So, I am hoping that the US companies have learned not to bring any technology with them when they go there. It is also way easier to make money in China than it is to get it out of China. Apparently they don’t like you leaving the poker table while you are winning.

For the past 20-25 years they have only allowed one child per couple and they all wanted boys. So the girls ended up getting adopted out to some other country. They now have a huge imbalance in the percentage of males and females in their country. There are many million men wanting to get some that can’t. They will probably be easy to recruit into a war if needed with all of that pent up testosterone.

China has also built entire cities where literally no one lives. Empty cities that could hold 1 million people. So, their economy has been bulls~~~ for a long time. Now that they aren’t building empty cities, you are seeing demand for construction fall off a cliff. That is why the price of every commodity has dropped to nothing. I’m not smart enough to know how that all unfolds. It’s uncharted territory.

As I see it, there is big bubble that still has to pop. One is the interest rate bubble, and the other is China. Our global economy will take a serious hit when the China bubble bursts. But whatever global economic growth existed for the last 15 years or so was artificially created by China’s government. When their government can’t pay back their banks and they come calling on the US to pay back their loans, that’s when things get ugly.

I couldn’t care less honestly. China’s government maybe less gynocentric, but, it has it’s own problems that make me hate it just as much as any western government.

War with China is inevitable. That they have Nuclear weapons is the only reason it hasn’t happened yet.

I know a few Chinese persons.

They would trade all they have over the US and go to war to get Taiwan back.

It is a national embarrassment and has been for a long time.

The USA debt that China holds is denominated in $US, therefore USA holds china over a barrel.
Keep manufacturing all that cheap ass crap and sending it to the west or we’ll just print more money to devalue US debt.

Technically USA could just “print” more money at the push of the button, repay the debt and make US dollars worth far less.

Also the rumor is that China is using our debt / dollars to buy gold.

Anyone with an ounce of sense knows paper “fiat” currency is not a real store of value in the long run. Better keep your wealth stored in the form of “hard” assets, ie GOLD, real estate.

China is buying both bullion and real estate around the world.

If China demands payment, USA will be broke, and there’s not a single reason for the USA to go to war with them, because they owe those guys money.

Other than that, I see the Chinese winning that war, which will make it the next superpower, especially when they align with Russia. Better bow down to the kings when they ask for their money, guys. This is a small reason why I enjoy being European, especially Dutch: we don’t owe anyone s~~~ (yet we pay the most per capita (?) to the EU, but have zero saying it what happens, so that’s a huge setback).
