Child Support: The Multi-Billion Dollar Enterprise

Here in the USA: Billions of dollars of court-mandated child support payments are made each year. And the penalty for not paying is often a prison sentence—which is a double jeopardy: time spent in prison means a parent loses his/her job and can’t make future payments. Meanwhile, the “back payments” add up while that person is incarcerated. This is especially difficult for low income parents who have living expenses to pay for, such as: housing, food, transportation, etc. On top of that, the taxpayers get billed thousands of dollars to keep that financially destitute person behind bars. How does that benefit the children who are not getting financial support?

Many people like to rant about “deadbeat dads,” but no one talks about the single dads who do not receive child support payments from their girlfriends/ex-girlfriends.

There are some outrageous cases of men who are ordered to pay child support even though DNA evidence proves they are not the biological fathers.

A lot of fathers want to have a relationship with their children and buy them gifts, but the mothers keep the kids at a distance and demand to get all the money. Since many fathers have a strained relationship with their ex-girlfriends/ex-wives, they would rather give or spend money that directly benefits their children instead of having it distributed by the mother.

If we lived in an ideal society, men and women would be able to negotiate child support payments—based on their incomes—without the enforcement of the family court system. Unfortunately, a lot of people lack the maturity or empathy to do this.

As a guy that was raised by a single mother that never received a dime of child support. (My dad bailed when I was a year old)

I’m going to have to roll devil’s advocate on this topic.

Now. In my case as an adult male, I got a vasectomy when I was 27 years old and did not already have children.

I knew the consequences of having kids as well as having to deal with a woman and be a financial slavery because even at the age I got a vasectomy, I had already seen friend’s lives destroyed by family courts.

So, what I have been trying to figure out for a long time is how the hell a guy can have sex, without a vasectomy and then not know that a woman could get pregnant because of it.

And as far as child support is concerned. The kids have to be paid for one way or another. It’s either going to come out of daddy’s paycheck or with tax dollars. And I don’t think the costs of having children should be socialisticaly, communally shared by society.

A dick is a tool that can result in a guy being drained financially after an orgasm and men should realize that.

Before they stick it in. Not afterwards when a child is born.

Pussy really isn’t that awesome that guys should be making this mistake anyway.

State-mandated/forced child support beyond the minimum needs of a child is an unconstitutional deprivation of a parent’s fundamental right. And if a parent (ahem, “mother”) is unable to provide for the minimum needs of a child, custody should be restricted to the father until she obtains sufficient resources or earning ability to do so.

Well at least my 2nd ex left me one month after child support payments to my 1st ex ended.
