At the gas station, I saw a woman , pass off two kids to a man.

Based upon License plates. The woman drove a minimum of 1 hour. It was civil. The man unknown.

    Never saw that before.

She had to hug each child like they were joining the Army.

Then she talked to the man for 3 minutes and handed him a pill bottle.

Let’s hope what you saw was a win for a man. Maybe he won custody and it’s all good. Who knows?

I used to drive to a grocery store to unload my bike for a ride. One time while doing this I saw a woman pull up and get out with a little girl. She was thin and very attractive/ high maintenance looking. Shortly thereafter a man puled up and got out, he was your typical middle aged successful beta, overweight, balding and unattractive, but wearing slacks, shirt and tie.
The greeting was stiff, formal and awkward. He got to hold the girl for a bit, and then he handed her back and pulled out his wallet, handed a wad of cash over to his baby momma and they all left going in different directions.

I guess that was a “visitation” and child support payment all rolled into one.

I couldn’t help but thin how he had 18 or so more years of this, plus paying for the kid’s college. All for one, or perhaps a few, nights of sexual pleasure.

I see this every day around town and the area. It is nice to see attempts to keep children connected to children, however I may actually be seeing the results of a court ordered custody arrangement.

I’ve come across quite a few men who paid their ex in cash. The sums were often quite large.

In every single case, they ended up in court with her lying her head off, saying that they had never paid anything.

Never, ever, pay your ex in cash. Make sure that there’s a solid paper trail, because at some point, you are going to need it.

It’s not IF they lie, but WHEN.

This situation both saddens me and makes me hopeful. I am saddened because the state of things has devolved to children being exchanged in parking lots, my own included. I am hopeful that it means more fathers are taking an active role, not only with their children, but in protecting themselves from a vindictive spouse.

I have to exchange my child in the middle of a f#cking parking lot. Why? Because she refuses to let me do it at our house and I’d rather avoid the police being called because she doesn’t want me on the property. She offers to bring our child to my place, but then shows up whenever she wants, pounds on the door, and refuses to get our child out of the car unless I stay on the porch.

I look forward to this hell, that is divorce, ending.

A co-worker recently told me, "If you want to see who someone really is, divorce them." I have found out how true this is. When your wife drops the façade of being the caring partner, you will witness all of the greed, hate, and spite that she has masked. It is truly breathtaking!

If/when a man wins custody (on paper in court) it is because he already has the children.

With him, living in his home and is taking care of them. Followed by court hearings then having legal custody.

Sounds like mommy was going to be running off with a Chad and voluntarily turned the kids over to their dad.
