This is not my area of expertise but the HIV infected are living longer and longer with modern anti-viral therapies. I was a medical student when AIDS was first discovered. The life expectancy was 6 months if you presented with full blown AIDS to 3 years if you where just HIV positive.

Although HIV infection was once considered a certain death sentence, research published today shows that the average person infected with HIV in North America can expect to live to the age of 63. Gay men with HIV can expect to live even longer, to an average age of 77, according to the findings published in PLOS One.

In 2009, the average life expectancy for a 20-year-old American man in the general population was exactly the same—77, the study reported.

Sheen is bisexual. HIV disproportionately effects gay men because it is primarily transmitted through blood and as we all know the anus isnt exactly designed for sex. HIV was initially called the gay disease but we all know how liberals love to level the playing field by denying facts in the name of equality.

If it’s true it’s too bad, I always liked Charlie and his outspokenness. Must have seen ‘The Arrival’ at least a dozen times over the last 7 years and thought it light-years better than Will Smith’s ‘Independence Day’ which came out at the same time but crushed it at the box-office. A good buddy of mine says he met Charlie walking down some street in San Francisco back in the early 90’s with a body guard and was able to approach him and speak to him briefly. Says he was a nice guy.
