I just ordered a Gigahertz HF 35C. I live too damn close to one of these masts. Pretty scary stuff going on here. Time to start shielding myself before its too late.

Even if the 35 C shows only 5 uW/m2 I could feel it during my heaviest times in 2014.

For measuring total radio silence I got off eBay a discontinued Aaronia HF meter Profi II…

…like pictured. Doesn’t make you look like a spaceman with a fazer weapon when you go hiking with it.

It only does “2.something GHz”, doesn’t measure Wi-Fi but you can check if forest areas are GSM 900 and GSM 1800 free.

I can think and write while living in a shielded apartment. Only the side facing the transmitter is shielded which is enough if your house only has one transmitter in the vicinity and it’s at a 90 degree angle to your wall.

As I have MCS, I will first test this s~~~ before painting it all over. Currently I still have the thick aluminum foil on the outside wall giving me < -53 db/m in my bed.

Aluminum foil and metal mesh (cheap chicken stable mesh) is the most effective means of getting rid of 21st century pollution.

It makes a Faraday cage and it still allows the walls to breathe.

The “chicken” mesh has to have holes smaller than 1 mm. Then you put the wallpaper on top.

Perfect for the windows if you don’t want to buy lead coated glass and new metal framing. And the mesh has to contact the mesh or paint on the frame perfectly without gaps. Microwaves “seek out” every little hole to go through.

And all shielding should be grounded with a grounding rod or on the “PE” (Earth) of the electrical system.

I chose a 2m long rod slammed into the soil.

But that is for safety and to keep floating AC currents away. It doesn’t do anything for the shielding against phone masts.

Interesting, I need to learn more about Microwave and Radio. I tried to study this in College, but everything was geared towards Computer Engineering. Aside from some antique books I have by Oliver Heaviside and Charles Steinmetz, I wouldn’t know anything about this stuff.

Yup, I took apart an old microwave last year. I have a Magnetron and Hi-Voltage Transformer, along with Hi-Voltage Capacitor in my basement. A project for a rainy day…
