I used to carry a Springfield Arms XDM compact 9mm with the 3.8 inch barrel. It is a damn tack driver. I can cut out business cards at 50ft. Too heavy for me to concealed carry.

I now carry the glock 42 in .380. Light pocket gun. Thin, light, fewer rounds, less accuracy. No recoil. I can cut 3 x 5 index cards at 50ft.

    What about you?

Sig Saur P220 Carry model. It shoots a .45 round. I’ve loaded +P hollow points.

I have a large hand and I love the balance. Recoil is an issue but with experience, you it doesn’t bother you.

I consistently hit the chest in a silhouette at 25 yards.

But to be fair, I only need to hit him once.

If I was allowed to carry it, I would have my 26″ ASP baton.

Ruger P944. .40 cal. 11 in the mag, one in the pipe. Also a S&W J-frame .38 depending on mood/conditions.

“The Penetrator” from Saints Row. Raw, unbridled power, plus a humiliation factor. That’s what I’m all about.

In all seriousness though, I don’t generally carry a weapon. Any time you carry a weapon, you invite the opportunity for an opponent to use it against you. If it’s my time to die, it’s my time to die. I accept that.

    Rennie, in my word you’d be able to carry one of these;

    Rail gun!

The baton is similar to this, except black and a bit longer.

Kahr PM9. Conceals well and I’ve always loved 9mm ammo for the low cost. More ammo is the best ammo.

If I lived in the US that allows CCW, then it would have to be a custom made 1911 without question. One shot from a 45 cal and that person will have a hard time getting up.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.

Depends on my mood and dress. Generally one of these two. BHP has been getting a nod as of late. I can carry it appendix. 1911 goes at 3 o’clock. So it depends on dress.

1911 gets 2 spare mags for a total of 22 rounds

BHP gets one spare mag for a total of 27 rounds

If I was allowed to CC a gun, in Canada. I would have a 1911 .45. Proven itself over the last 100 years and through two world wars and countless other smaller conflicts.
