Hello Gents,
Pretty new to the forum, and figured I would start my first non intro thread with something that is near and dear to me…fast cars. I tend to overspend and get myself in trouble with my hobby, but who cares, it makes me happy. Thought there might be a few car guys in here that would enjoy as much as I do. Here is a couple in my collection.

Cool!
Um, if it sits in the garage, release it into the wild — the bike, not the dog. Keep the dog!
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Oh wow. Yes big car guy here. If I were a gazillionnaire I would be Jay Leno – without the chin. Part of my work is producing websites for car companies, exotic rental places, live online car auctions and things like that. I also attend the “cruising’ for a cure” in California every year to raise money for prostate cancer. Biggest car show in the world.
I have been working on an old classic which I have had for 8 years and just put a new engine in last year. Taking it apart , chroming and powder coating it, obsessing over stainless steel braided hoses, chrome details etc. I’ll post a few pics when it’s ready.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.Nice and welcome!!! You have a clear understanding of the MGTOW philosophy, It’s about your passion and living it as best you can. Saw the show Overhaul-in for the first time last night at a friends house (I don’t have cable) and loved it and was sad that it is ending. That’s some major car porn!
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."
Silnus, that red GT-R is flawless. Respect.
How do you choose which car to drive on any given day!?
“We are on strike, we, the men of the mind. We are on strike against self-immolation. We are on strike against the creed of unearned rewards and unrewarded duties. We are on strike against the dogma that the pursuit of one's happiness is evil. We are on strike against the doctrine that life is guilt.”
Now I have a GTR-on.
Nice collection dude, good job.
I’m saving for this at the mo:

Lucifer, you have excellent taste my friend.

Thanks atlas. The 991 C4 GTS, handling is supposed to obscene, plus rip the back seats out for luggage space and have one hell of a tourer. She’s a beaut. That colour & rims too, hopefully I can get it before next summer so I can blast it down the french riviera and catch the F1 in Monaco. There’s a few of Porsche fans lurking hereabouts so we’re in good company.
Silnus – left a note on your wall, pls read asap buddy.

oh yeah ! ( rubbing hands together and salivating ,,) .SO want to see ..
I like your style, Silnus.
Here’s one thing on my bucket list: I want to fix up an early 1970s Camaro. I like these cars a lot.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
The GTR is a good choice if you want a good car that no over 100k. But just to ask have you turbo-ed any of them beyond stock.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!

OK then!

I want a Caymen. Gun metal grey. Test drove one 2-3 years ago and just loved it. Yeah some Porsche guys have scoffed and they are all about the Carerra, but when a car hits $150K I think it starts to get silly. In my opinion, you should be at least worth $2 million before you throw down $150K on a car. I mean I know it’s a big important purchase, but it’s a car …… and “how fast can it go” doesn’t really matter where the speed limit is 100K or 60MPH.
I see a guy stuck in traffic in his Bugatti and you’ll notice he’s no better off than the 1997 Toyota Tercel next to him. Take that Million and do something else with it. Would much rather have a 66 ‘vette.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.The new Cayman is a brilliant car in its own right (especially the Cayman S), a much different car to the 911, and bang for buck I think you’re right KM, no scoffing here, guy across the road from me has one in white, it’s really sweet. Power and cost isn’t everything -one of the most fun cars I ever drove was a 140bhp Mazda Miata, got pulled by the police for drifting it round a roundabout! hahaha!
With the 911 though – I’ve looked at so many different GTs because I want a car to tour in, and GTs all have good points and bad, but when you get the classy interior, power and handling and refined looks all in a package that can fit easily in carparks and down winding village roads, it’s a no brainer…… maybe the baby Aston, but the gearbox is s~~~ and it’s just too ostentatious.
As for the Bugatti, I just couldn’t ever bring myself to drop that kind of cash on a car, as much as I love them. And I’m not going to push myself in to debt for anything – if I can’t pay for it, I ain’t buying it.
So when are you posting your project pics? You can’t leave us hanging like that KM.

I wish…I’d probably get a TA though had I the money simply because I’d like to drive it on the street as well.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. --Einstein
My congratulations for your collection, it’s wonderful.
Sadly, I do not have so much money.
However I have two cars:
A Jaguar X-Type (diesel, 2009)
And the only princess in my life
1993, red, exactly like the pictured one, I named her “Cynda” – it’s all original, apart from the leather interior: the grey average-quality original leather have been redone in 2002 or 2003 (I’m not sure) with high-quality white Connolly leather (the factory of Connolly has closed forever in 2001 or 2002 but my upholsterer had a stock).SUPREME LEADER KIM JONG-UN'S FASHION STYLIST - if you want a new look or if you're a very beautiful trans you can call me, phone number +85079255312 / mobile 01921421211. Anonymous26Great pictures guys…..awesome collection Silnus, I want the dog! Is it a Belgian Malinois? Looks like one.
Am on the complete opposite spectrum driving a little economical Focus….lol yeah yeah stop laughing, it’s cheap on fuel, but like many of the other brothers here….. if I ever won the lotto!!!

Holy words.
I never spent more than 40-45% of my savings in a car, I always paid it cash, and I never paid a car full price: I bought the Jaguar when I was still married, used zero miles, and it was already out-of-production since two or three months (I got a very hard discount), and I bought my Cynda used: she was already 5.
I have see a guy stuck in traffic in his Aston Martin, he was exactly in the very same conditions of me, in the car right next mine, and I was driving my company’s car: an absolutely silly and crappy white Fiat Bravo.SUPREME LEADER KIM JONG-UN'S FASHION STYLIST - if you want a new look or if you're a very beautiful trans you can call me, phone number +85079255312 / mobile 01921421211. It’s not everyone’s dream car but 3 months ago I bought a ’98 Mercedes C230. A friend of the family has a towing company and brought it in after the owner died. He sold it to me for dirt cheap. I put a little money into it for repairs and to pass PA inspection/emissions. It’s a nice little spitfire. Way faster than an 2.3L inline 4 should be. Gets 25/30 mpg so it’s great for the 22 mile round trip to work. It looks classy, as all Benz’s do and is a real eye-catcher. Same color as the one below.
Beautiful collection. I am a foxbody guy myself. Looks like this..
Just a 306ci / T5 that I am trying to mess with. Got a turbo kit but will build a Dart block before I put boost on it.
You can sleep in a car but you can’t race a house! 🙂
