I know we should lock dupes, thank you. I’ll amend “about the forums” ask others to review it and then put locking dupes into practice when I spot them. I don’t spot dupes often.
Maybe its time to make someone others a moderator??
Thats’ just an idea for now.
Let me think about it. Pretend I didn’t say it.when you look at this excellent site and it’s amazing growth, offering advice about how it can be tweaked to you and the others is like looking over Rembrandt’s shoulder and making suggestions about color choices!

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.• NAMING / Titles. Instead of titling it “check this out” – call it “Baby Seal Walks Into a Club” – so people know what it’s about before clicking on it. Almost everyone is good about this.
I always try to use the 80 characters and I repeat the thread name as a bolded caption in the OP.
(Word or OpenOffice “count letters” helps a lot in that respect)
This makes it better for search engines to locate it. And after all that’s what brings in new readers and new members in the end.
And I write most things with SEO in mind. I try to use different words for the same meanings so different keyword searches lead to the same thread or article. Search engines go by the rule “content is king” and written text that passes spelling and “sense” checking by google will get indexed. Stupid and senseless keyword clouds are not welcomed by search engines.

Well I did look at KM’s other list. But I see it in relation to the content I create that is not spam. Compared to that, my cat-pic to text ratio shall be very high.
Sometimes a topic is so awkwardly funny and not of epic impact that I don’t bother to write long analytical statements to it.
Posting a funny picture is sometimes all I have to say. And I like the reactions tuna lurkers will surely have.

It is “study material”. A faked but “real as hell” study video on BPD brought me to Paul Elam and he brought me here.
Most teaching videos are faked because reality can almost never be re-captured and “done right the first time”…
They have these videos at universities to show the future psychologists what his or her patients are going through before they hit the doctor’s practice.
If I had real videos of my childhood, they would get banned by YouTube as “adult content”…
Women do this s~~~ behind closed doors. And they smash your camera if you try to film them in the act… So some of these things have to be re-played and re-filmed to bring the point across.
And this fake was so real that it even fooled me.

Post anything that is relevant to our topic and mission. And put some explanation around it, like
“Here is an example of … what happens in the real world all the time…”
“It looks real but it might be a (satirical) screenplay”
Then you are covered and the audience is warned.
Many new posters disregard this and get mistaken for a tuna or troll.
Posting controversial s~~~ is what makes this site interesting and guiding the audience always improves the quality of the program.
For the lurkers, we are a “program”, a visual brochure to read and understand.
Adding well selected pictures and videos will turn an interesting web page into an attractive one. And making people laugh is part of it.
Lurkers should want to come back for more.

I think Bill’s style is misunderstood here. He’s direct and gives it straight. That’s not often “fun” but it’s good for you and highly valuable.
You’re all “in charge” here. Originally, without boatloads of requests from the community, the forums wouldn’t’ even exist, and it would be more of a “storage facility” of red pill materials with far less interaction. But we listened to you and encourage requests.
MGTOW is a tough crowd. They don’t f~~~ around. So we have to do it RIGHT.
And sometimes, right is rigid and not very fun.From what I have seen, OldBill is an excellent example of proper “tough love”, and it’s is sorely lacking in the world. The best thing about tough love is…… those people are already tougher on themselves than anyone else. They demand more of themselves first, before dishing it out to others.
I’m one of them. I whip myself harder than anyone else, I can promise you that. I have actually told women “no” – or to say “please” – when they want something, and they think I’m “being mean”. You can’t even work with that.

I have no problem with good o’Bill, or anyone else here at all. I know he’s a hardass and his posts are right on – and good for us – because of it. His participation on the forum is needed because he says it like it is and doesn’t give a f~~~ where the chips may fall. I appreciate that, truly.
And I agree with his suggestions for the forum. Some sections could be combined. I also understand your points on that and maybe a just middle ground can be found.

Insights and Appearances….
As to the repetitive posts by the same posters (it can be anybody), For me, when I see several posts one after the other, it has the Appearance of a Rant or Rambling , or the answering your own posts which comes across like one is talking to themselves. For me, I usually just scroll through them and go to the next contributor. Lurkers or other members may do the same thing…
Maybe a helpful humble suggestion, If there is a point to be made or contributed, make it. If it has to be in one long thread so be it. It just seems like if you want what you’re saying (typing) to be heard or read, you may want to keep it a bit more brief. The nature of these forums ( and the people in them with such short attention spans) are generally short reads, short videos, messages that are to the point and on topic. Maybe wait for other contributors to respond or reply before adding multiple posts of your own. The site is for All, which everyone contributing to this threads already knows, But if the Appearance is that only a few take up the bandwidth, does that not become the reality?
Please take my insights or the appearances given in the most humble and constructive manner towards the same goal of making this site what KM intends for it to be..

That is a good thing. That is an act you should be proud of.
While we should have fun here, we are here primarily to learn from our fellow men and teach by our experiences. That exchange of knowledge should take precedence. Jokes are fine and I’ve posted my share. Information which can lead to personal growth is more important however.
When the same people are repeatedly fooled by satirical videos and articles, they are not learning and learning is the reason this site exists. Excusing away their repeated failure to learn to recognize satire by saying it was still “serious” material is just that; an excuse. The reason is that they still choose to react rather than choose to think. Gargamel’s choice of the word “triggered” to “explain” his behavior neatly illustrates this.
Men aren’t “triggered” because men learn how to think.
Similarly, posting 3, 4, or 5 cat pictures one after the other in the same thread is not a “reply”. Men use words because, again, men learn how to think.
I’ll admit it freely; I’m an old poop at times. Part of it my age, part of it is my various careers. On the relevant-irrelevant spectrum, my needle is too far on the relevant side. That being said, a MGTOW Central forum which is predominately jokes, funny videos, and repetitive memes might as well be 4chan’s /b.
While I enjoy 4chan, even /b, and have been visiting there on and off since the days of W.T. Snacks, I don’t go to 4chan to learn anything.
What I’m trying to say is: Remember what brought you here and try to post accordingly.
It’s as simple as that.
