Can someone direct me to a legit online job? I’m a dropout and I don’t want to be under the support of my parents for my own benefit. I live in India and I’ve been searching for it for a while. most of them are scams. Some are legit but they pay only around a hundred bucks a month. If you guys know some, do let me know

Can you compile code? Plenty of tech gigs in this digital age.

If you have a skill of some sort, you can offer your services as a freelancer by joining websites such as upwork.com, guru.com, freelancer.in, fiverr.com and others.

I tried some freelancing websites a long time ago, I gave up.
You spend much more time in the negotiation process, then doing the real job.
I usually spend 20 hours online trying to get a 4 hours activity.

I work as freelancer, I work for several small companies and for a university, and I only were able to get those jobs because I lowered my price to the minimum, or else they won’t have the budget to hire someone.

If that would help you, for IT related jobs, I see several online ads for remote jobs, but after some interviews they usually say that “it would be good if you live nearby (USA), because even being a remote job, sometimes you need to go to meetings and talk to customers in person”.

Even meeting the requirements for those jobs, the location where I live made a difference, and a full remote job, is something that requires trust, and they will only trust you when they can evaluate your work, in other words, if you already worked for a big company that they know, or in a project that they already heard about. If you live in another country, you can say that worked for X,Y or Z company, that won’t worth a s~~~.

Fiverr is amazing, but really online jobs are a lot harder to make good money then going to a regular job. You need to be tech savvy to make it work… One job I did was domain parking, I would buy a popular domain name at auction, park it at godaddy.com (they have parking options) and then drive traffic to the site. Once the sites Alexa ratings were up I would dump the site back on the auction and make some money. You can also do affiliate marketing through sites like clickbank.com etc, I know some guys that make bank doing that.

Knowledge is power..... Don't waste your brain on bullshit
