Is it really a choice then? Or fooling himself that he doesn’t want sex or to find a relationship and it’s just a big cope!!!?

I’ve tried online dating for years as well as bars and clubs when younger, but I never really get further than an awkward first date. I’m not that bad looking, but women seem much more picky than guys, despite them saying they aren’t as shallow.

Also more is expected from a man, he needs ok looks, decent job, ambition, great personality and tick this box and that box before the female will let him near her vagina. For a younger man who looks like a male model, the looks help get the vagina of course and the other things don’t matter as much.

But any women, even the obese and ugly can have nothing at all but still get guys wanting them for sex and more. But even they are picky as f~~~ and think they deserve a decent guy, being validated by thirsty guys on their facebooks fools them into thinking they’re sexy babes. They put up a new profile pic and get 1000 likes and comments like “wow so pretty, you changed your hair!” ect. It’s only got worse in the last few decades, women being more entitled, narcissistic and disgustingly selfish!

I don’t blame the guys who give up or turn to escorts as their only sexual outlet. Some get nowhere for years and years, their teens, 20s and beyond ending up a sexless wasteland. No one cares about these guys, or the mental problems they can end up suffering. It’s little wonder some end up going on shooting rampages or feel very bitter and resentful.

Let’s turn your question around, can said far too picky for what they’re offering women really be considered strong and independent? can they really choose to be feminists or is that just a coping strategy to salve their egos from the reality that men don’t value them as highly as they value themselves and express their rage at said men while the wall is looming ever closer?

But, given the hoops you’ve identified and others beyond that men have to jump through just to associate with “normal” women, alongside the multitude of risks that men take just by being part of said association and not being part of that is the only logical choice.

Add in for those that still feel the need to share a bed with a warm body from time to time that the majority of escorts are both far better looking and sexually talented than anything you’ll find in a local meat market (bars and clubs) on a Friday night, and far cheaper than a LTR/marriage to boot, Personally I call it the far better option.

Some guys are just too nice.  They never realize that they need to be dicks to women to get anywhere with them or they choose not to compromise their kindness for a piece of ass.  I don’t consider that involuntary celibacy.  Having standards that women can’t live up to is voluntary celibacy.

No. Because its involuntary. You’re still playing by their rules, and your losing. Its like being fired but turning around and saying “I quit”. It doesnt work like that, you’re MGTOW when you make the conscious decision to stop playing the game, no matter if you’re getting laid or not. Sex isnt a part of MGTOW, many of us still get laid and those that dont, its their choice not to.

@fitzbones:  Exactly.  I’m a virgin by choice.  I’ve never tried to get laid before and have no desire to do so.  But if you’re still trying to get laid and failing, that’s not MGTOW.  MGTOW is rejecting women and society completely.  Whether you just avoid women as much as possible and don’t have sex with them (like I do) or are having one-night stands 5 nights a week and never marrying or getting into LTR’s like some people on here, the fact is you’ve DECIDED to go your own way (MGTOW).

Women aren’t worth all the BS.  They’re just not.  It’s not worth dealing with their BS 99% of the time for the 1% time you spend f~~~ing them.  Escorts are MUCH better.  They may seem expensive, but do the math.  They’re actually really cheap.  Even a high class escort (it varies by the market, but typically $400+/hour) is cheaper than getting married.

What the hell is “involuntary celibacy”? The only way a man could be involuntarily celibate is if even prostitutes turn him down, and doubtless there are prostitutes out there who will f~~~ anyone… for a price.

So these so called “involuntary” celibates are really just men who refuse to pay the price, monetary or otherwise, demanded of them for sex. And that is entirely a VOLUNTARY choice.
