Why wait for a divorce settlement to disappear? Do it before court proceedings even begin, but even better, do not date, impregnate or cohabitate and do not marry!

1) The problem with being an actor, earning big money and then being forced to settle for high lifetime alimony payments is that you may not always be a healthy well paid actor.
2)Courts claim you can always negotiate, but only if you have the money to fight. Since “support” is bankruptcy exempt and you are not, the law takes the unrealistic assumption that you are healthy to age 100 and default from stroke or illness has to be fought “later”.
3) The fundamental problem with that is that it is not reality, and failure to pay resulting in jail terms should be recognized as unconstitutional slavery.
