Reading a tabloid at work, Burt is looking frail and his time is running out.
He still owes Loni Anderson ~$150,000 after paying her millions in alimony. (according to the tabloid)

My question is, did Loni need his alimony cheques?
Or is she just sticking it to him and/or she is a woman and feels entitled to it?

Poor Loni, her own millions didn’t quite cut it.

I remember seeing a news story about Loonie Anderson appearing at a mall for a book signing. Nobody f~~~ing cared and she sat in the mall alone and sad for a couple hours.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

My brother once said … two men have a fight and will stop when one hits the ground. Problem settled.

A woman will chain a man up, stick a pin in his eye …. and come back every day to give the pin another twist.

It won’t stop until Burt is dead and out of reach.

    Here’s what happens to a man’s castle when shared with a woman…..

That’s awesome, I love to explore anything abandoned!

That was to me, an illustration of a man who once was.
As a kid growing up I saw Burt was a strong alpha figure man, now, like this abandoned ranch is a reflection of what he is now.

I think Loni was the beginning of the end for him. I thought it was a weird marriage.
She was alone at a book signing? Not even Les Nessman showed up? Les IS more!

I am not much into celebrity gossip, but it just seems like there is an influx of once proud and strong and full of life celebrities I grew up with watching on TV that are ready to kick the bucket. Seems like Loonie shaved a few years off his life.

Life comes at you f~~~ing fast.

That will be us in a couple of decades.

But in the meantime, I’m not falling for the traps that await me. Most of which have been laid by a conniving c~~~.

I always liked Burt. I’ve seen most of his movies. I am sorry to hear he’s fallen on hard times. OTH, I can’t be too surprised, since he went and got married to a Hollywood beauty. “Eyes have they; but they see not.”

You already know the answer to that question.

I’m so old I remember when WKRP was on prime time and I never understood the public’s fascination with that artificial life form known as Lonnie Anderson. She was so blatantly plastic, so off-putting, so phony. While all women drop several levels on the attractiveness scale when you squeegee away their warpaint, release their girdle, drop their push-up bra, and remove their f~~~-me pumps, I always felt Anderson would fall off the scale entirely once all the special effects were removed. In fact, there was always a whiff of trannie about her. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had been revealed that Lonnie’s actual name was Bertram and that “she” began “her” career working bath house caberets with Divine.

Jan Smithers, the actress who played Bailey, was far more attractive in my book. Aside from looking like an actual woman instead of a blow-up doll, she seemed pleasant and had a nice rack. I’ve read that after the show she disappeared into a marriage with some C-list celebrity, had a kid, got divorced (naturally), and was found a few years back wandering naked down a desert road claiming she’d wrecked her car.

The Wall destroys both their looks and their minds.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Holy crap! Bailey; didn’t care much for Jennifer, but I thought Bailey was pretty cute!
I was only a kid too.
Jennifer just seemed…too high on herself, and of course they added Bailey to provide male audience relief from that probably.
Perhaps they realised the Jennifer character actually turned men off and they figured a counter would boost ratings?
