I was totally hooked on Bruce Lee’s movies for a while. They are a good antidote for mom’s musicals. It is good to know he offered such wisdom. The man died too young.

I also liked the old TV series Kung Fu. The best parts were the teachers imparting wisdom to young Kwang Ki (sp?). I really liked the old blind guy; he had the best lines.

Kwai Chang Kane. AKA Grasshopper. I loved that show and the blind master was my favorite also. My friends and I would go around trying to snatch the pebble from each other. One afternoon my father was burning trash in a 55 gallon barrel and I tried to mimic the part where Kane had to cross over to master status by lifting the hot pot off the pedestal by using his upper arms and branding himself during the process. Not one of my smarter moments.

I hear ya on all that bro. I used to be hooked on his movies as well. It’s been a very long time since I watched any of them. It’s my next goal on my blu ray/dvd library to get my hands on them.

I don’t know if I even saw any/or much of the TV series Kung Fu. I am going to have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh yeah, I remember that now. Wow, I miss watching that, barely remember much of it now.

I loved that program! Master Po was the blind monk. There was even a sequel on TV called Kung Fu: The Legend Continues in the early 199o’s — not as good as the original, but I still enjoyed it as well. I confess to downloading them all as one mega file on Bit Torrent.

Mr. Spock: That is hilarious. I guess you just got burned real bad, and didn’t become Shaolin? I remember the dragon imprint formed by the hot kettle in the intro sequence to each episode.

Be water, my friend. – Bruce Lee

Swallow this RED PILL ===> Men will lay down their lives for their brothers, their women and their children. This makes Men useful as slaves. Women will lay down their lives for ONLY their children. To expect more from women is just a FANTASY created by society and reinforced by the unconditional love that we experienced from our Mothers. The key to freedom is the understanding that the woman you meet is not going to fantastically love you like your Mother did. If you buy into the fantasy, then she is your new master. If you do not buy into the fantasy, then she is nothing, and you retain your freedom.

I also liked the old TV series Kung Fu.

I just downloaded those a few days ago! I hadn’t seen them in over 30 years and seeing them again makes me wonder why they only ran for three seasons. They were well done with humanitarian messages. I remember we kids used to try and act like him and talk quiet and slow and practice the “flying” kick, lol. TV these days only has messages of consume and conform. Sad state of affairs, eh?
