This reminds me of something I heard many years ago.  I recall a certain science fiction author (whose identity I’ve long forgotten) who commented at the silliness of SF magazine covers or movie posters that showed some extraterrestrial trying to get his jollies with a human female.  He thought the whole idea was absurd because he couldn’t understand how an individual from a completely alien species would find a woman sexually attractive.  There would be too many differences in anatomy, biochemistry, and, possibly, genetics to make copulation feasible.

Perhaps I should have been clearer.  Many of those covers or movie posters showed some alien being that resembled, say, a lobster salivating over a woman, often looking like a centrefold.  That difference in appearance and, presumably anatomical function, didn’t make much sense to the author.

However, Vulcan women, like T’Pring (Spock’s intended in the episode Amok Time), would certainly get my attention.
