This goes well beyond ‘feminism’ and speaks to the ILLIBERAL mindset of many college-educated individuals. One aspect of CLASSICAL liberalism used to be, defending the right to express your ideas, even if unpopular.

Why doesn’t the femsoc engage their opponent in a spirited debate? Or host their OWN speaker to counter his ideas?

I actually think it’s GOOD to have your ideas challenged in the Academy. And personally, I always felt safe at the University, except against property crime (theft was rampant).

How would one learn about the genesis of Hitler’s Final Solution without reading Mein Kampf? Should it be banned because it’s upsetting?

We live in a world were you are not able to offend anyone and if you fail to maintain political correctness, you are shamed, belittled and shut down.

Safe space; the biggest oxymoron there is. Nobody is entitled to safety. The universe and our planet are anything but safe. Survival is the exception and extinction is the rule. The only reason safety exists for people is because men have built cities and societies that provided it. Men have built a society so safe that people have forgotten how violent and dangerous the natural world really is. Now they want safety from the very men who provide it as though they brought danger into the world. and in return they give school expulsion, job termination and incarceration. The irony of it all.
